Onces the background checks r done it goes straight to decision making officer all the files depends on that if it takes longer that means back grounds check r not done yet and this apply to all files if the case is complicated the back grounds checks take longer time it depends for example for people who did reside overseas more than 6 months it takes longer cause u need to provide PCC from that country some people resided in so many countries for those ones it takes longer time though.
Hope it helps good luck !!!

:o so mine will be longer BC checks

Question: in order to have your MP send email to CHC - do you have to meet your MP in person you can it be done via email or phone?

Thanks Sidney for reply. I am so worry as my backround checkes did'nt take longer. but i was wondering why it went to the desecion making officer. IF it is normal then i feel better now. :)

Brother lahore, still nothing! I did send them an email more than a week ago but still no respond! I couln't take it so I went to MP on Monday and she said "you will receive it any day now, but if you don't then at the end of the month let me know so I inquire about it"! It is way too much and not fun at all! I'm so extreamly worried.

How does your MP know you will recieve it "any day" now without doing any inquire?

You will have to fill a consent form to authorize them to get status update on your behalf ..
u go there one time and then every 2 months write them an email and they will update you within a day or two ..

Me personally was in pak with my husband when i wanted to get updates on my file ... i had asked my dad to fill the form and i sent them an email saying i authorize my father to fill the consent form on my behalf .. hope this helps ..

BTW my MP is useless lol ;D

As per current time lines and experiences of applicants this thing keeps popping in my mind that their is an unusual delay for 2009 applicants while 2010 they are processing with normal speed what do you think guys am I right?

Plz advise, its urgent!

One of the member in this forum kinda confused me on the issue of email inquiry that we send to Islamabad.

Now the question is that If i am inquiring via email to CHC-I on my spouse behalf do i need Authorization or consent IMM5475E attachment with it or NO??

No you dont need the consent just simply write your spouse name, date of birth, and file no. it would work for you. In some cases you need the authorization not for all.

In which cases do u need an authorization plz advise!

Secondly the reason i asked u this is that i sent two emails in january and they never responded to it, now looking at my timeline was it too early to have inquired??

Should i send them email now?

Just wait for couple of months before sending an inquiry and thats what i also think that u dont need the authorization form as long as u type the complete details in email.

Now at least you guys also agrees with me I hope 2009 people get their visa soon
