Don't panic: stress is v. bad but do the things which are important to cut down the cholesterol.
Mine is always little bit high but I have been taking 40 mg tablet twice a day and it was giving me very serious muscle problem plus it was giving some other problems so I quit this tablet and now I take flax seeds, almonds. walnuts, oat, Blueberries, also use only lean chicken without fat, salmon fish, vegetables and whole wheat rather than white floor.
Don't eat beef, lamb, eggs, butter, and no deep fried things like pakoras samosas or patties.
Use only skim milk and zero % yogurt , use only canola oil for frying. if you want to use olive oil so do not fry anything in olive oil but use it raw inside salad or on roti after its been cooked. so remember not to fry anything in olive oil. ( olive oil starts to burn much faster in lower temperature than canola oil so only use canola oil for frying so it would not get hardened as fast as any other oil.
Don't go to sleep after dinner rather exercise or brisk walk for at least 20 minutes after your dinner and eat dinner around sunset and keep away from the habit of eating late at night.
I hope you will keep the cholesterol level low as I am keeping it low for more than ten years.
