Although it says nothing started on many items, thats not always the case, anything in NOTES? if not then its pretty much plain

Where is my file???
What do these due dates mean???
Is my file in progress???

Look up beginning of file and see if its assigned with due date ( that's when officer sees file ) but other due dates are set ( no idea how, I have them too but still in progress so don't make much out of it ) - at this time, you can assume its in progress despite them not being diligent in updating each and every item
We have seen notes where it says security not started and 1 weeks later, its decision made so although they give an idea, its not all tell-tale

I have tried checking my application status online for over a week and it shows error. I am waiting for my passport return does this mean that my application process is finished. All the information i enter is correct there is no issue with that part. But i thought system might have a problem but for over a week its just not possible for system glitch.

It is your computer which may needs to be updated because I just checked my status and it shows all the information as it is.

Looking for some feedback on how others have handled similar situation.

I applied for my newborn's LVP & Citizen Certificate. The Canadian embassy returned my application asking for travel proof for the 2 month old infant. I had sent in reservations that were not paid. Unfortunately I cannot purchase KHI to Toronto tickets for the infant without the passport and the canadian embassy is telling me that they will not accept his LVP application without travel proof.

Has anyone else dealt with similar situation

I had to call Ottawa couple of times and they told me that this year they are too busy because too many immigrants arrived in this period so I should be getting it little later than I was told. So it took around two and a half months for me.
