Finally I am jumping to ask a question.

I am waiting for passport return

my home address changed to Canada

My mailing address still shows in Pakistan

my application still shows IN PROCESS


what does it mean


anyone please help me understand

That's positively in terms of processing , It means immigration officer has made final review and move ur file to visa section . Next working day u will find ur ecase as "DECISION MADE". In Sha Allah u will get ur PP within a weeek.

Ur home address has changed to canadian address means they accepted ur as P.R of canada , ur mailing address showing Pk address which is bcz they will dispatch ur passport at this address.
After getting ur passport u may manually update u ecase mailing address to canadian address.

So cheer up ;D ;D , Start ur packing and do search to find a good deal for ticket booking.

I applied my husbands case in March 2010 and is been 3 years now and embassy has his passport for 3 months and 10 days and we r still waiting

It is just a torture for Pakistani awaam otherwise putting a visa on pp & returning the pp can be done in one week.

Hi all members I'm shocked by the delay in getting your passports after they have been received by CHC. Why is it taking so long to have it returned I don't know?
My husband had his medical done and received all other documents that had been requested. So I visited my MP's office and asked for them to find out what is going on. She called the Immigration hotline that they have and was told that all documents have been received and they told her to call back by the end of June or July.

I don't know why they are saying and doing this to us all who applied in 2010. Maybe we should get a petition and send it to Mr. Kenny's office and find out what the heck is going on, especially when you see cases of 2011 being processed and finished it doesn't make any common sense. I'm not begruging the cases of 2011 but cases of 2010 have not been finalized and they are finishing cases of 2011.

Tell me why they have been processed and our's for 2010 have not. We should do something but what can we do. As a Canidian citizen I think its our right to know why all of delays are happening. Lets all decide to do something as a group what do you think???

sometimes you face things in life that you cant help it....so there is no point of think about it....dont worry....dont plan anything and dont even think about....u will get it when the right time comes.....I know whatever i said looks impossible but trust me you can do it if you really want to....

Mujgani sis I hear you! We all can difinately understand and feel the pain but there's nothing we can do about it..trust me I already got gray hair and I am not even jokking. Lost 12 pounds. Sometimes my family makes fun of me, they go like see where love takes you..lol It's not the matter of being away from my loved one it's the matter of our future.. Shaitaan is always trying to corrupt my mind I think of refusal GOD FORBID! i feel like my future is in chc ppl's hand..but just having the thought that Allah (swt) is with us feels very good!

i think chc forgot abt NOV cases and they started procedding wid DEC cases lol one of the members did his re med in oct and got ppassport bac in feb

We sent our application in Sept/10 it was approved for sponsorship and sent to Islamabad they received it in Oct/10. He had his 1st interview June/12 and 2nd interview in Dec/12. Jan/13 they sent a letter for him to do his medical and he had it done Jan 10/13 and they received results the last of Jan/13.And at that last interview she told him it could take another 6 to 9mths with the background check to be done but did say she was ok with the relationship and said Welcome to New Brunswick I love New Brunswick.

I find this strange cause what do they do with a file for the first year???? Let it sit in a corner?? And now all of a sudden the processinng time as increased again it doesn't make sense. So why do they process cases from 2011 when 2010 are not finished I see a big problem here don't you think so??
