as i've noticed on the forum now, the MPs are getting detailed replies this month. So you could inquire through your MP as to where your files stands as of now.

Just wanted to check with you guys its been 6 months since my hsb send his remedical and when i ordered the gcms notes back in may its say send the medical and then foward the file to eligibility.so i am just wondering that what they are doing until now bec i heard if they pass you for eligibility then your ecas go in process.but mine is still application received what the hell is going on with our visa officer ? :-[
can somebody or danny bro please comment on that.
i am very worried now what is happening or i think they will open the file when it will come to expire.so it is in may so i have to wait for annother 6 months then. :-\.this process is killing me

my file is still on old system so in caipz they told us file in wvr que
paper file sent to reg. for decision making officer review

This is the good suggestion but to tell you the truth i did do inquiry through mp in nov2011 but she said they will open your file in jan 2011 for the first time and when i ordered gcms notes it does not say anywhere about mp inquiry so it seems like some mp they just listen to you and donot do any thing .its hard to believe.my husb says donot go to mp bec it could delay our process.so it seems like no other option but i will talk with my husb and if i convince him then definelty i will contact my mp.thanks for the suggestion

we got our gcms notes yesterday and the only time cic worked on our file was when the mp contacted them for an update. Thanks to our MP our remedical status was update...cic was sittin on it.

Even the enquiries made by me and my husband's MP were not updated on GCMS notes. I think that they don't update the enquiries made before the 1st review. And disfrust is right, even my file was reviewed only after the MP enquiry. So you could give it another shot.
