congrats!! you had a long wait between Re-med and PPR- I remember you mentioning due to your husband's employment history they are doing extensive checks, but alas the checks are over and you got PPR!! Great news, thanks for sharing Only your husband's info goes on the form, yours isn't needed. As for the flight iteniary - I would attach it to be on the safe side.

Alhamdulillah, my husband received his PPR Request. He received a call on the 17th asking him why he had not responded to correspondence sent out on September 6, 2012, so my husband advised them that he has not received anything yet. He also asked the caller what was included in that package and the response was the PHEP letter and Passport request for visa stamping. The embassy told him that they will send him an email equivalent and alhamdulillah he received it today. At the end of the letter - they have bolded "please attach your itinerary with your passport" - Is this a must? His medical check is valid until November 25th so do I need to send him an itinerary as well?

His timeline:

Application sent to Mississauga - November 2010
File transfer to CHC-I - January 2011
Re-medical request - November 2011
e-case status updated to "in-progress" - Aug 30, 2012
Passport Request - Sept 6, 2012 (our wedding anniversary) but lost in mail
Passport Request through email - Sept 19, 2012

Also do I have to fill out my info on the PHEP under spouse? Or does only my husband's info go there (the one being sponsored)?

I sponsored my wife. She is pregnant and did not do her medicals yet, despite the fact they asked for it. She could not travel. 8)

She will do meds once she is in a position after delivery. Inshallah.

Embassy called her and asked her to use the same papers and send in the medical and passport. The child, inshallah, will get the Canadian passport within few weeks. Expecting her to be with me by Dec this year. Inshallah.

dnt b worried mahwigul m also from kpk,, i also heard smthing lyk dat about KPk,,, but one of my frnd who ws 0ct 2010 case she got hr visa in Ramadan n left for canada on 14th sep,,, and miserable (member of this forum) is also from kpk ,,,n her hubby case ws completed in april i guess,, inshalllah by the strt of oct our PR ll b in our hands,,, keep ur spirits high

but at the start of this letter they written that dont confirm ur seats before getting ur visa.

This is a very good news. Seems your medical expiring soon and they want to issue the visa ASAP. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Don't worry just send them the ticket booking not the actual ticket from the agent and be prepared to take the same flight. I believe they will issue the visa within a week. Some folks for their visas in your case in 2 -3 days.

Don't delay send the passport with the reservation, the one which agent will give you.

Congrats Babbi and fj. Lonely without Hubby, I'm glad to hear that you've been rewarded so well for your patience, have loads of fun there and keep us in your prayers. And today too it wasn't the postman when the bell rang, it was the maasi. I have asked her to pray for me too. She had predicted that I'd be with my hubby within this month. But september is about finished, and I will be celebrating my birthday without my hubby again, for the third time God forbid, but it seems that CHC is all set to make me celebrate my 6th eid after marriage alone as well

Yes the status did change to in process a week before they issued the PPR.
