ive recieved it through email frm the consultant already tht 8 digit number!! is it wot ur taking about?

Well there r 2 kind of number we receive from CIC M .....n.....CIC ISB.

1. The number which u have got is a Client ID number its for sponsored person receive from CIC M.

2. The number am i asking u is file number its for applicant which starts wht F*********........N have 9 digits number received from CIC ISB.

He doesn't need the file number from Islamabad as he already has that number which i believe is called application number and it starts with F. They have changed it up since july this year, so people who applied after that don't need a file number from CHC-Islamabad.

Its both F and B now. It used to be just B0123456. Now new files are getting new numbers assigned F00#.

Old file system they used had File numbers starting with B but new system they are switching to has file number starting with F. So if your file was in the old sytem(CAIPS) you got assigned the B number and then they transferred your file to the new system(GCMS).

Can someone please give a confirm answer for what days CHC-I will be closed in December 2011. Do they take off for Moharram?

and what is the differences in old and new system

The new system has ability to send AOR automatically via email to applicants email address(if any listed) and the forms data input can be done quicker by scanning the forms BAR at the top (for new forms only). It is more tightly integrated with CSBA and other system of Government.

Some Visa offices have already got it implemented however others are still partly implemented and they are still working through bugs I guess as they find them. Here is some more info on it :

I know some of the new member got but not all.......Danny bhai his file number have 8 digits means sponsored client ID number ..........appilicant file number have 9 digits so this means he havent received tht F********* number yet may b.

LOl is kand of same thinge but for this new one they sending automaticly via e-mail.............not sure all those new applicant getting or not.
