lolzz..we are just like you...passing through same process...what we do here is to condemn CHC for their unfair, inefficient time span for spouse visa...
n i dont know what u wrote in your previous email..if you inquired about your file number or status then you can send that email again adding some more information which here someone told you in the letter format...

pls dont get upset and share your depression here

Hello friends, a couple more questions


1- I just want to ask after how many days should i inquire if CHC-ISL has received my documents or not ? assuming online TCS site shows "delivered status on 18th Sept 2011" ?

2- My total package with proof, pictures, etc etc is coming out to be 3-4 KG , do u think that's OK ? or it can create a problem ?

Minimum 4 weeks to attach your package with your file.

Don't worry about the weight, send everything that helps you prove your relationship and marriage and list them on cover letter. Don't forget your file# on the package and cover letter atleast.

give them 4-6 weeks before you inquire ................ in the meantime keep checking status of e-case to see if your address disappears ............... that may or may not indicate that they are updating your documents .

weight does not matter as long as you sent the documents in an organized manner ............. like covering letter and a cover page for each type of set of documents.

tht is why i like this fourm to see tht they are processing files even though they are very slow ! give me hope cuz we all in line .... lolz
one after another ........
my case is very simple
cuz there is alot of proof since we are in nikka
and have cute baby boy!! just hoping for the best ....
becuase they need the stupidest reason ... to dealy the file

Proofs that you provide is never enough, they can ask you for anything anytime. I don't know if you had a chance to read that one of the family members of 'became-a-loner' had to do their rukhsati, and walima pictures again with their son on their lap and provide those picture :-\

My wife's case was very simple as well, no work history, no travel history, only education, lived at one place since birth and we have no kids, she didn't receive any objections, nor she received any request for extra documentation yet It took them 19 months to process her case...

another thing i came to knw from this forum was that a visa officer was found to be involved in fraud..and the victimized person was going to sue him..it could help..and divert the attention...

in this way we can hope that the inefficiency of CHC-I could come into the notice of high officials and they would take some steps to improve the CHC... 8)

not only that after six months of that social joke they were forced to go through ....................visa section desi called his wife and asked her to provide new pictures of the son (not passport size or immigration specific) ....... just to see how he is growing or probably to see if he resembles his parents or if he is a borrowed child.................. so their insult has no limit and they do add insult to injury

hmmmm ............ fortunately I am not their victim ................ they have not opened my file yet .................. it was my friend with Nikkah only case ................ and I was already aware what they could do so I tried my best do my homework well before I applied............. rest is in God's hands
