Muzmil Bhai, Sorry to hear about the news. I think the letter you have received is after they review the applications and most likely in the applications you have chosen "NO" on Reception section. They may have reviewed the application info but not the supporting material you have sent later on.muzmil said:

In my case I didn’t provide rukhsati proof upon receiving objection letter but did provide all other ongoing relationship proof possibly one can and after 8 months at the end of July 2011. Which they open on Aug 17th & Aug 22nd and I have high hopes that they are reviewing the material now and in a short period of time I should hear from them.

The problem is i am fed up with this waiting game.. and i have decided to visit Pakistan end of nov on 3 week vacation...and i am planning to come back with her.

I highly doubt that everything will be done by mid December according to what we have seen in the past. If you send them the requested documents now it will be attached to your file by mid October to October end due to backlog in their mail storage room. It does take them 4-8 weeks to attach requested documents to a specific file. Then based on your bring forward date they will review it whenever that date comes and send your either remedical or remedical+PPR if the background checks are already done by then. If remedical + PPR is received together the process to get VISA is about 8 weeks from when remedical is done (plus days untill the appointment date). And if only medical request is received then the wait for PPR is about 2-3 months for wife's case + 2-3weeks for VISA issuing. So you do the math bro, process is approximately 6 months after the initial review if its a simple and straight forward case. It can go up to 8 - 10 months if objections are made or even longer if the file goes into an interview queue. So your file just got opened for initial review and therefore they have requested to provide all those documents.
P.S. It is however possible we have seen some lucky cases that got done in a very surprising timeiline, so if Allah wants anything is possible. I am just telling you based on the average that I have seen in the past 2 years.

I believe they usually don't ask for it after the background checks are done unless you provide them with updated information about ur education/work etc.saifsmarty said:
