The real problem is the backlog bro! They start working on the file after 12 months thats when the acutal process starts and they need everything fresh and updated since everything is expired and the info provided is too old. Look at my wife's file her initial review was in Feb 2011 and her process finished in Aug 2011. Thats all they need 6-8 months for a simple case(if enough evidence of genuine relationship is provided), the longer timelines are due to complications with relationships, nikah only, too much travelling, name flag etc etc. And as we know the backlog of 12Months is created on purpose to issue less VISAs to Pakistanis, thats just one bitter truth. Otherwise once the initial review is done, then they don't need much time to finish the process unless they run out of the VISA quota then it drags again on pupose not because someone didn't provide enough proofs. They are creating delays for smallest reason they could find to put a next BFD on the fileONE 2 KA 4 said:Question Those offices (e.g. India) which process VISA in 6 months how do they validate the relationship in a short period of time. I am sure ongoing 2-3 months relationship proof attached to the file, but having said that how come we constantly update them with our ongoing relationship proof and still after 12 months they asked for provide more ongoing relationship proof. Is it not must to do task for every office and for every officer to validate the relationship regardless of region given timeline. OR does it strictly apply to CHC-I no matter last 10 months relationship material is on file but to always ask for more proof after 12 month.
Example:
My wife received, rePCC and IMM request on Feb 22, 2011 we got the PCC made and filled out all the forms and sent it to them on March 8th, 2011. Documents reached embassy on the 9th and I emailed them with the TCS tracking number and updating them that the requested documents have been sent to avoid delays in the next step. When I got my CAIPS, I saw they attached documents to my file on May 11th. Where were the documents and why weren't they attached to the file for 2+ months?? I know they have a big backlog in the mail room but 2 months is I think a little too much to attach documents to a file. Canada post just had an strike for almmost a month, can you immagine how many letters and deliveries were backlogged during that time. They caught everything up in a week! So if they want they can definately do it faster, but if a plan is plotted to not do it earlier then no one can do anything to make it faster.
