Ticket is still not booked yet since its was the weekend and then EID holidays and everything was closed, but by next week I should have things planned. As for the agent, we are not going straight to the agent. One of my uncles have good contacts with travel agents since he books lots of flights for executives for where he works. So, we have given him the contract to see what he can do so I am expecting something by next week and will let you know, once I know...

Hi All! I know i'm a silent reader, but have been on this forum for over 1.5 years.

I would like to join you guys, so I've added myself to the list...hope I'm welcomed.
I always thought of doing this, I'm glad Dell1505 initiated it.
We need to pick a place with alot of room...we're already at 14 people. Places like Lahore Tikka in Gerrard is crowded but may have space with reservation.
Any buffet restaurant(ex. jerusalem) can also accommodate large groups...just a thought.

Any evening works.

What are some of the good places to eat on Gerrard? I might be staying in GTA for a week or so when my wife comes so let me know

The food on Gerrard Street is average. Lahori tikka being the better option there. If you want to eat good halal desi food, you have to go to Cafe-D-Khan (amazing bbq & probably the best kabab paratha in Canada) & Zauq (I wouldn't recommend the hakka food there, desi food is pretty darn good along with their bbq). Both of them are in Mississauga.

Shaheen is a good choice too, although i haven't been there in 2 years, its in thorncliffe Toronto .

Patna kebab house in Scarborough is good as well (Nihari and behari kebab being best items).

If you want to eat halal Italian food, then go to KaraMia in Mississauga.

For Afghani food then try Bamiyan kebab, one location in Mississauga and one in thorncliffe Toronto. Pamier kebab in Brampton is an option too, almost the same menu as Bamiyan.

I refer you to Bamyan Kaboob resturant have some qabuli pulow with yamyyyyyyyy tihka kabob you might love it

Question Those offices (e.g. India) which process VISA in 6 months how do they validate the relationship in a short period of time. I am sure ongoing 2-3 months relationship proof attached to the file, but having said that how come we constantly update them with our ongoing relationship proof and still after 12 months they asked for provide more ongoing relationship proof. Is it not must to do task for every office and for every officer to validate the relationship regardless of region given timeline. OR does it strictly apply to CHC-I no matter last 10 months relationship material is on file but to always ask for more proof after 12 month.

I have been reading a lot of different threads on this forum, and it seems like every VISA office abroad is ignoring to reply to client emails. It's not just CHC-Islamabad, a lot of people are complaining about no response to their email inquiries from different VISA offices around the world. Something's fishy : unless they are just being ignorant...
