Well, that was general info that I provided and could fit to any scenario; info was not covering specifically people supporting husband/wives.

On an older thread, someone was asking about the best way to send money to Pakistan;
My two cents:

MoneyGram is good but recently they have added a cap on sending money limit i.e. you can't send more than $2500CAN per transaction. For example if you are planning to send $10000 then it will cost you around 80-90 bucks to transfer the whole money to Pakistan. Apply for Money gram rewards card; that would save you some bucks on each transaction fee.

If amount is more than $2500 CAN then check with Western Union OR Banks (Banks normally don't give you good exchange rates but will wire your whole money in one go/transaction for lesser than MoneyGram's trasnfer fee).

Hundi is the another good option with good exchange rates and a less transfer fee but I think, hundi is more famous in Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec etc...) - I would say hundi is not a safe way to send money to anywhere - its like a trust game and you gota do trust on hundi people and if they break that trust then you can't do anything but with MoneyGram, Western Union or banks you play safe!

MoneyGram, Western Union Or banks - pick your option after doing a comparison of transfer fee and offered exchange rates.

Every stage of this immigration process seems never ending ...

All the best to your husband Shaimaa! InshAllah if its good for him, he will definitely get in I think you'll probably hear something after Eid, as even if they have stamped the passport, things might be going slow cuz of the upcoming eid holidays etc..You're in my prayers!

Good luck bro!
My suggestion is just get yourself busy in something productive and most important if you havn't done Rukhsati do it ASAP and send 'em update and make relationship proof collection your hobby (Including cell, skype, yahoo, msn calls & video call history, online gift order receipts, emails chats ecards etc) and send CHC an update in like 5/6 months from now as your initial review date would be nearer then and it would help IO to take decision on genuineness of your relationship in first screening process.

bohot shukria mere bhai saggit ................... laikin ek baat mai add karna chahta ho ke mera taaluk afghanistan se hai.........or yahaa peshawar mai hum takreeban 22 saal se reh rahe hai mere school ke certificate sare gom ho gaye hai mujh se.... or school bi khatam ho gaya hai.....kia school ke certifacte ka hone mere sath zaroori hai?
