There are no AORs being sent since October 2010. You might want to email the CHC ISL and get your file number and also ask the current status.

Thats what i did, and already got the file # Fxxxxxxxxx...... since then there is no news afterwards. Also My wife's address disappeared for two weeks and re-appeared yesterday. hope for the best... Inshallah

My wife received back her passport with VISA and all the original and photocopied documents!

PPR was on Aug11th, PP reached the embassy on the 15th, VISA issued on the 19th, and PP came back on the 24th.

My husbands medical expires on Oct 2011, do u think that by December or Jan 2012 we would get re-med or even earlier?

Slam to All,

After 2 months of submitting application I recived email last week from CIC-M. Email has UCI and File number. I am only able to see the status using my wife (sponsored) info with the file number .
If I use my(sponsor) info or UCI than it does not show any thing at all (give incorrect info error).

My question is this normal or some thing is unusual? Also in status it was only showing " We received your application for permanent residence on June 15, 2011,"

Now few days later it is now showing sponsored person address as well.

Please let me know if it is ok or do i need to contect CIC because UCI number /receipt number as well sponor info is not working when entered correctly.

Yes, it is normal.....
for sponsor to see his/her record you should have client ID. Which you should be able to find on the letter you received from CPC-M after sponsorship approval.

Does that email from CPC-M contain any client ID? if not you should contact CPC-M to get your Client ID

The application requires me to send them an international check in US dollars drawn on a US bank...Has anyone done this? Do you know how I can get that made from Rawalpindi, Islamabad?
I also need police record from London as I have lived there as a student for a couple of years too, Has anyone ever used Zarco exchange company or something like tht to get a bank draft in GBP? LOL I am sorry, I havent lived much in Pakistan since the age of 18 as I was studying in London and then worked in New York and then returned back 4 months ago, getting married in October...I have been visiting Pakistan frequently because all my family lives here but I am still stuck in getting these things together due to lack of information....Can anyone please help?

I did use HBL for US$ drafts to send fees for my international exams. Also These days UBL also have branch in NYC. I would suggest that you can check with both banks. I believe same goes with GBP. but you want to make sure with banks.
