Jab itne pages peeche ja ker sabke post perhe Sept 2010 se Feb 2011 tak to 1 week back ja ker yeh bhi perh lein that the dinner was conditional to my PPR arrival within one week the deal has expired already lol but I really appreciate all the prayers...sometimes I feel so down and then I come here and see ppl waiting for the visa of their spouses even longer than me...may Allah help us all and reunite us soon...ameen :'(

Ameen... any idea how long the decision making officer takes? I just read someone's post saying he has been getting the same reply "file with DMO" since May 2011..

Background checks/security screening varies for everyone depending on their work/travel/education/personal/and family history. We have seen it takes anywhere from 45 days to 2+ years sometimes : If you have alot of travel history.

hi wes, can u recall when exactly was ur file in BG checks? Is is done after IMM forms or concurrently to Remdical request! I just wanna know the timing?

Background checks/security screening varies for everyone depending on their work/travel/education/personal/and family history. We have seen it takes anywhere from 45 days to 2+ years sometimes : If you have alot of travel history.

Wasslam brother,

Seems like your case is stuck in the limbo like some of the other ones. Normally, wife cases receive PPR after about couple of months from remedical. Since you are not getting any help by email or by going to your MP I suggest you order CAIPS notes to see the current activities about whats going on with your wife's file. Here is the link, email the request and see if these notes tell you anything better:

I am a silient reader on this forum. I have been reading everyone post since January 2010. I have sponsored my wife and her processing time started in Islamabad Nov 2009. I requested to sumbit some photos of our wedding in July 2010 and then after they requested to refill all immigration forms in Nov, 2010. She got re-medical request in Mar, 2011 which she has sent back to new dehli in Mar 2011. After March She has no response from Islamabad. I have made so many inquiries by MP and as well as me. They only replied to MP and me that your wife is in queue to be reviewd by immigration officer. I am getting this generic reply since May 2011. I heard that you have good experience and you are knowledge person to suggest me. What should I do? What would you think under these circumstances. I am little bit worried because most of the people applied after me already got visa. I am curious about her visa. Please advise me. I will look forward to seeing your reply.

I never received a reply from them saying that the file is in BG checks or BG checks are completed for this application and there was nothing in CAIPS regarding BG checks either so I have absolutely no clue when they started and when they were finished for my wife's case. Sorry bro!

like generally speaking! If u dont recall ur particular case! My wife's background is the same as ur wife, no history of travel, no work history or anything along those lines! Im still wondering is background checks are over or still in process. In June she had her IMM forms filled out! No remedical yet!
