Congrats to everyone who got PPR, and for those still waiting inshAllah I hope it will be over soon.

Allhumdulillah it has almost been a week since my husband landed and we are having the time of our lives, I pray that all of you will be able to see this time very soon and cherish it a lot. I know it sounds hard to believe but when you are together those 2 years you spent apart are forgotten. I was talking to my husband and he said the same thing that he has already forgotten those 2 years of tears and sleepless nights. May you all hear good news soon AMEEN.

salam saif bro, yes you are right that time could have been used in your career or as quality time with your spouse/child but don't forget that there is a reason for being apart that long which only Allah (swt) knows. So yes when you are together you forget about that time, of course it can't come back and is gone but I wouldn't say it's "lost" because every second you are apart makes you that much stronger. InshAllah I hope you will be in Canada very soon with your wife and son. ;D

You all are in my duas, having passed through that time I can understand it is not an easy time at all and wes bro I do special dua that inshAllah your wife gets her PPR in this month.
