Hi guys,

Congrats to all those who recently received PPRs! =D

My wife is a May 2010 AOR and got re-medical in June 2011. She is from Karachi.

Seeing that a lot of you share the same timeline as my wife, we are very hopeful our PPR might be on its way as well.

Would you be kind enough to respond and let us know if you got your PPRs through normal mail or TCS?

Call your DMP and tell them you did your re-med and want to confirm when was the file sent to NEW DELHI. The operator will ask you for your passport number and your name. and then he/she will be able to tell you when was it sent. My DMP didnt give me Tracking number coz she said they send Medical Results in Batches with other medical results so they cant provide me with Tracking number coz of privacy issue (not that I could understand what privacy has to do with tracking the parcel but anyways). But she was able to tell me when my wife's documents were sent from their office.

First time poster, long time reader.

I'm sponsoring my wife from KHI.

Application received by CPC-I on April 29, 2011.

There have been some cases that were processed relatively quickly.

Inshallah I hope this signals greater efficiencies at CPC-I for all of us.

CIC-I sent her REMEDICAL REQUEST on 27th April 2011. She received it on 03 May 2011. She did her REMEDICAL on 23 May 2011. The results were sent to New Delhi on 01 June 2011. and she got PPR on 09 July 2011 (her bday) which was sent on 07 July 2011.
I am on top of the world right now. Coz finally I can be with her. I have waited a lot to be with her. Ive known her since 2004 and got engaged in 2007 and did Nikah in 2009 and then formal reception in Dec 2010. so yeah LONG WAIT which is finally going to be over INSHALLAH. I just hope and pray that all of us get done with this process really quickly and no one has to wait for this long coz I know how difficult it is mentally and emotionally.

I am jan 2010 AOR..still waiting for ppr..had remedical on dec 2010 and IMM form on jan 2011..dont know when allah will listen to our prayers...

It is a husband case and had full wedding..and i visited my husband 2wice during the application process..oh yah his case is in queue to be reviewed by immigration officer for the past 2 months

Is it possible to get your medical done with a CIC-DMP in different city i.e (if a person lives in Peshawar and he/she choses to do medical in Islamabad instead of Peshawar) would that be Ok?

YES sir, it is acceptable, you can have it done from any part of the country.
