Thank you bhai.

I've been MIA from this forum for so long that I've lost touch and gone rusty. lol I've been a bit depressed for the past two months and didn't have the energy for anything. Getting the chance to see my husband again after 2 years is giving me strength again. I've been dealing with CHC objections that they have doubts about our marriage. I had a simple wedding and they keep thinking its an engagement. :'( :( This is going to drive me mad.

Sister, I have had same problem, They noted in System, fewer guest invited for spending of little money and rejected.

you should spend time with your husband. provide joint obligations proofs to them joint bank account money transfer especially from husband.

I've sent all the information they requested. Personal contact information, gifts and so on and photos together after marriage etc. We've been as open as possible and I'm at my wits end on this. My husband and I are financially independent of each other. Only once did I send money to my husband and that was through my khala who was going to pakistan and it was cash. I don't have written proof of this so I never mentioned it.

hey i just want to know its better to have lawyer or just do it by my self for ADR (hearing) n aslo wht kind of proof they want i have send email, phone bill,textmesga... i went paki in 2 yrs 3 time so i have send all evey singal things but still they reject my case so now i dont no wht kind of proof thay want im so so so upset i need really help

Doing it yourself is the best thing to do, so there is no third person involved unless the case is complicated. If its a simple straight forward case you don't need a lawyer. You will find better help here for free then any lawyer or consultant can provide for money. As for proofs you can send the following:

- photos of engagement, wedding , reception, honeymoon, places you visited, other photos with our family members
- wedding and reception invitation cards
- phone call logs and skype chat records showing call duration
- emails
- receipts of gifts sent to each other
- Money transfer receipts
- Proof of your visit i.e. air ticket, boarding passes, passport entry/exit stamp

DodgeCharger - May your father's soul rest in peace and Allah(SWT) give him space in Jannat. May you and your family be blessed with patience during this difficult time.

you should not mentioned it... it will weaken your husband position. I have going through hell of appeal and faced a lot questions during the hearing. I have given money to wife when she was going to Canada which I bought from open market and get receipt of it. They must note who is giving money and who is getting it.

- Order your CAIPS notes in which they have mentioned all key points which drag your file towards rejection (Not genuine marriage primarily acquiring for status section A64(A)...............
- When you will file you will get Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) File number but your client id will remain same.
- You will need to send additional proofs to IAD (Immigration and Refugee Division) of IRB with mentioning of your IAD file number
- Your CAIPS note will help you a lot to address their requirement. and now you need to spend more time with your spouse and have joint obligations. (Joint Bank A/c, Money transfer, attending parties together, another honeymoon trip, have baby etc)
- Yes you can do it by yourself if you have ability it is not necessary to have lawyer

Does having a baby help the case? I initially didn't want to start a family without my husband by my side but It'll be 2 years in on July 3rd for my marriage. :( Back then I thought my husband would be here in no time, maybe a year max so waiting didn't seem like a bad idea then but now we both want to start our family. I however still don't want to go through with a pregnancy without my husband by my side but I don't want to wait more. I pray this nightmare is over soon and that I get to come back with my hubby after my trip.

I know what you mean, and know the way you feel. I think that being pregnant without having your husband close to you can be even harder and cause of depression, and we have seen a few cases here and how they were really unhappy not to have their husbands close to them during last days, but obviously that your personal choice if you decide now or later about the baby. What my conclusion about your case is that you just had your remedicals done I don't think it will be more than 3 months from now untill he gets his VISA. I am alomost postive to say that you are going by yourself but InshAllah both of you will be coming together to CANADA.

No PPRs today:( Even no calls for remed...All happiness of yday has turned into acute depression...Hope CIC does not sleep again as they did last time after June 1-6... :'(

Pleeeeeeese I need my PPR, it will be 2 months since remed and entering 19th month post applying. It seems had I applied on my own and not on sponsorship basis at the time i got engaged, I would have been a citizen by now or atleast would have had a work permit. But dont know whats God has in store for us :'( >:( :(.

Ok my ecas doesnt have the address either and this has happened for the first time!!!
Also, now its showing two lines...one saying application received and the other saying in process!
