salam zs101

i liked how you said 'by the grace of Allah' even if its an interview request. Thank God you guys heard from the embassy ..InshAllah you will do well at the interview..this is your chance to be heard and make good use of the opportunity presented to you. Sicne it is end of july, you have plenty of time to prepare for interview, but also do lots of duas that everything goes well and give sadaqah.
I believe you also ordered caips notes last month..I am pretty sure you should receive them by now. Please go through them and sutdy where your case currently stands..
They haven't sent you a re-medical request because they'll do it after the interview and inshAllah it will be a remed + ppr for you. May Allah reunite you with your wife. Ameen

Thanks my friend. Well they requested passport as well, doesn't that count as PPR?

Don't go to DMP, instead call IOM and you can probably get an appointment with in the next 2 weeks.

If they asked you to bring the passport with you for interview, they might just want to check it. They might keep it too and ask you to do the Remedical after ur interview.

based on my knowledge of interview cases from the forums, they do ask you to bring in your passport before the interview..obviously they will check your passport when you are going to the embassy and they do ask you to bring it along with other requested documents.

I wouldn't get your hopes too high by saying it is a ppr, but I pray that the interview ends up being a ppr for you. and they stamp the visa on your passport..but again don't get your hopes too high and prepare for the interview !

well since your medical is expired then they might not keep the passport. OR you might receive your remedical request before your interview date which is at the end of July so you still have almost a month and a half.

If his previous medical is expired they won't stamp the VISA with out a new medical expiry date.

Yeah, that is your PassPort Request.

So Passport request at interview counts as PPR in that they might keep it for visa endorsement.

They might keep it but they probably wont stamp the VISA since your meds are expired.

you are right..thats y i said it isn't necessarily a passport request.

Either your medical is expire or not, if you have an interview you will have to take your passport with you and if that interview goes well then they will keep your passport and will send it after they stamp it...
