CEC October 2014 Applicants

Got an email from CIC asking to disregard the email sent before, asking people to pay RPRF. Matter closed, back to square one - unwanted distraction.

I got didn't get the disregard email. Not sure if I need to pay anything will check with call center

It's fair to say the RPRF mistake email was very unprofessional and a huge embarrassment for CIC, however, speculating as to how or why it happened serves no purpose. It will have been generated from a database where the relevant fields I.e name/ address/ account numbers will have been populated automatically by the system. I guess we need accept this was just an unfortunate mistake, it really doesn't change anything. We will just have to continue to wait and try to be patient, at least we know they are working on our applications.

Huh, working on applications ? May be they are using our applications to test their software patches. May be there is a bug in the software patch, that sent emails to all. Going by Aug applicants pace, I really doubt whether they really have a plan to complete the 2014 CEC applicants ?

Go to John McCallum's facebook page and write viewers comments. Atleast it triggers email to his PA. The minister is old and looks drunk. I doubt whether this guy can achieve anything other than bringing in the refugees and receiving them in the airport.

I dont know how much I can be correct, but this is just an idea coming in my mind for all october applicants.
Really as the speed of CIC is going for issuing medicals and RPRF request. If those who have IELTS valid and some how they can manage their certificates to submit again should try to apply in EE if they receiving ITA. I know it will take another may be $1500 max but its really good option. Dont know when they will reach properly to October applicants and finalize it.
I am July applicant I will apply if I dont need to give another IELTS test and as they already crossed July applications hopefully In Sha ALLAH I can hear something good.

I know no one need my advice as everyone is more intelligent than me. but its just a brother advice to you guys.

May Almighty GOD give all of us good news for PPR.

Hi guys, I applied under Express Entry - FSW, last month and did my medical as well. I have two PR applications.. hopefully CIC will work on at least one!

Since I did medical already for Express Entry application can the same medical be used for CEC application when the ask for it? Medical was done under UCI number which is same for both applications, will CIC get my eMedical information from there for CEC application?

Following are the timelines for both of my applications -

CEC:
Submitted: Oct 20, 2014
AOR: Feb 20, 2015
RCMP request: Mar 30, 2015
Nothing since then...

EE-FSW:
Submitted: Dec 4, 2015
AOR - Dec 18th, 2015
Medical: Passed - Jan 6th, 2016
BG Check: In Progress - Jan 6th, 2016

CIC has been ridiculously unfair dealing with our CEC applications, I wish they had some idea what we go through during this process.. anyways, it will be great if anyone knows the answer to my question.

So whats everyones opinion on getting a second bridging open work permit as it looks like we might have to do that as this rate.

Are you thinking that we should be okay regarding the eligibility criteria which is now bring brought in. I mean if we got approved for the first one, surely they cant deny you a second one? Anyone been through this lately?
