Any October applicant got Medical Request yet ?
I am an October applicant and I didn't get any update after AOR from CIC.

Is it good to go for Upfront Medical in March ?

I am in the same boat as you. No update since AOR. For the medicals, I booked the appointment for next week so if I get it by then, its great or either way I am going to do the medicals.

I don't think it will hurt to book your medical now. I haven't received anything since AOR either, but we have done Medical upfront and paid the fee all upfront so thought we might hear soon but doesn't look like it.

I just booked the appointment for Kitchener. I will drive from Toronto...total came out to 195 $....for March 8th....

Hello ABS,

Why driving to Kitchener, didn't u find anyone in Toronto? I suggest try Dr dharmavathy in Scarborough. Her fees is same or less and u save on time and gas driving all the way to Kitchener. And God forbid if u for any reason have to do additional test u hv to again to Kitchener.

I am happy to inform all about my PPR email which I got on Feb 22nd. Though I did not belong to this thread, I started my PR journey from this thread. I am one o those unlucky guy who missed the CEC application with 2 days delay on Oct 2014. I then web into the EE pool an stayed there till July. Then I got an option in OINP way. I applied to that and some how lucky to get the nomination N secured a ITA in Sep 2015. I submitted my Application on OCT 2015 which is a coincidence though. Finally , dream come true for the long journey starting from 2014 to 2016 to get a PPR for my application. I Sent my Passport to Ottawa on Feb 23 a th reached on Feb 24. Thank you all for your valuable suggestions. I will hang in here to help you people.

I was told that July is the last month for October applicants by a CIC rep this morning

How true is this? Did they really say July is the last month to process all applications in old CEC ?? I am really anxious my work permit expires in June and I don't know what to do :-\

Nothing other than AoR for me, Oct 15, Feb 18.
I was thinking of doing upfront medicals as well to save a week or two "hopefully" rather than wait until they request to schedule an appointment :-\

Hi fellow applicants, I have added my spouse last June. However, in the PPR email, there is no her name. It only states send passport for accompanying family member. I suppose this should be OK?

Secondly, my spouse is outside of Canada, and wont be able to return in April. Can we change visa office for stamping for her?

I spoke to a really nice call centre agent today, who checked my file, and stated that there have been no recent updates to the file, and nothing with regard to eligibility. Based on how quick they've been working (and the fact that my notes show a due date of April 4), I'm assuming my file should be looked at sometime this month.
