i seem to have been singled out by cic for torture......appled 3rd oct 2014, rprf 19th april, hk pcc request 10th mar, hk police informed me they sent result to cic on 8th april. on 14th june i get mail from cic saying final reminder ....ur hk pcc still not received.... i called cic call centre...

See this official CIC link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/ You are eligible. Just more procedure to be done before you return to Canada since you dont have PR Card. So only if urgent and unavoidable, then recommend to travel.

Oct 3 applicant here. Waiting for PPR. I had submitted my and my wife's home country PCC in March 2015. Last month we went on a 4 week vacation to home country. Will they request for another PCC? I hope not. That will delay the process by another 2 months!!!

Thanks heroforest....done with RPRF payment and mailed them receipt. Only thing pending for me was HK PCC which I have a feeling CIC must have finally obtained from HK Police and hence the RPRF request. Not sure though.... Neways the wait for PPR begins now...
