Soooo Just curious,

We have just noticed that my partners employer actually has him down as starting in the wrong year. Now I have checked his employment letter and on it it says that he started a year before he actually did. So on the application it has the correct year but on the employment letter it has the year before! I attached our work permits along with the LMO to our application originally. But I just want to know if its worth sending a new employment letter or just wait and see if it comes up.

I would suggest to send an updated copy...you never know how the VO would react when he would see the employment letter and may consider that you are not eligible...so a new letter with proper explanation and evidence should be sent....

Yea I thought that too.

I mean I doubt it would be considered ineligible as we still have over 12 months experience either way and the LMO and work permit both have the right year on but you can never be to careful.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

My company HR left his job and I have sent his info to CIC when I applied. Should I now send the new HR details to CIC?

Hi guys.

I asked this question a few days ago but I guess it got overlooked. Really hoping someone can help me out.

Seeing as how there's probably still a few months to go (best case scenario) before we get our PR, I've applied for and been offered a short-term teaching position in Tokyo, from May to the end of July. Basically, I was just wondering if and how this might interfere or affect my application. Presumably I should tell them I'll be moving (from the UK), and I might get my medical done upfront if I haven't had the request before I leave, but does it affect me in any other way? Do I have to send off my passport or anything like that at any point later on? That might be tricky if I need it to travel as well...

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Everyday they are giving PR to 300-400 refugees. Their target is 50,000 and they are prioritizing refugees.
If they wish they can finish backlog in 10 days looking at this pace !!!!

Hello guys,

just need some suggestion. I am really tired of waiting for my medical request (like everybody else). So I have decided to do my upfront medical this coming Monday (Feb 22, 2015) and get it done with. I know this shouldn't delay my application process but if I am wrong or if seniors think something I should know something about upfront medical which will affect my application please let me know.

Much appreciated... thank you... :)

Hi Ali,

upfront medical is not recommended by CIC and most of the lawyers , but if you want to do it, you can, most of the people here in this forum, have done that, and it won't affect your application , but at this point, I would say wait for MR, you are very close :)

Thank you Mubin for your reply. I do understand what you are saying. But I already took a day off from my work so was thinking might as well get it done with as long as it does not harm my application.

Question: Whats your current country of residence?

There is no problem moving to Japan for couple months for work. Your application is under CEC so you are not obliged to work for the same company or same position you applied your PR with. You are free to move wherever you want whenever you want but you just need to inform Immigration about it with the proof of documents i.e, Job offer + Criminality check from Japan which i am sure they will ask you later on when you come back or when you are still there. Upfront Medicals is a very good idea in your case, might as well get that part done when you can eh?
