Hello guys,

Inland CEC/In Canada with VISITOR status/Job offer with positive LMIA to support my job offer
I have one question and I would like some advice.
I'm in application for PR under the CEC program.I'm in CANADA and my status is VISITOR.
I have job offer and positive LMIA to support my job offer and I have 4 years experience in Canada in the past 5 year.

My question is: If my application will be approve and I have to do the landing I still have to show POF an the port of entry ?
Can I use my job offer,T4 and Notice of assessment for POF at the port of entry ?

I will appreciate your advice.

Hi, I believe persons who are granted PR through CEC are less scrutinize for POF. It is assume with your Canadian experience your more likely to find gainful employment, which you have demonstrated with your LMIA. Plus usually POF is major factor upon considering to grant PR. Less so once a person is landed.

In my case personally as POF I showed a letter from my employer that I have a permanent full time job and over 6 months pay stubs. Attached with that I wrote a letter of explanation.

Please read this information

"The Proof of Funds

Applicants would need to demonstrate that they have sufficient money for supporting themselves and their families once they get to Canada. However, officers would need to note that this requirement is not applicable in case the applicants:

Have current authorisation that enables them to work in Canada and,
Have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada (refer to Appendix J) OR,
Qualify under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC)"

I was told by CIC that if you're an inland CEC applicant you don't need POF since you are in employment already and earning money to support yourself whilst living in Canada. Kept a copy of the reply they sent just in case they come back to me asking for it ;D

That's all fine what CIC is saying, but I am under the same situation, CEC under EE, complete application in mai 2015 including LMIA and job offer, but I got a request for POF in oktober 2015. and still no answer after 9 months.
CIC is using a tax table ( nr 3 ) for proofing if family's are able to support them self and not having any risk to come in social assistance.
It may be a special situation to me, because I have a larger family, ( 9 own and odopted children) where my oldest 3 children are working on work permits too.
I am already for 3 years here and don't need any assistance, but CIC wants to drive a safe road.
( even when we are not alowed to get any (child) benefits or tax returns under temporarily workpermit i can live my life) I was not comming to Canada for any benefits, but it could be helpfull. and it is somthing legal isn't it ?
We will wait and we are still happy to be here.

So CEC takes 4 months now? :o
Before an average was around 2 months or so

CEC Inland

AOR oct 27

No ECAs access
No ghost email yet keeping my fingers crossed anyone in the same boat?
Starting get worried.

Don't worry about it....I wouldn't even bother worrying about checking ECAS as it's been down for months for most of us and the process has still completed without it. All you need to worry about now is checking myCIC to make sure your medicals passed, waiting for your Schedule A, CELPIP/IELTS requests and the golden PPR at the end of the line. ALL the best 8)

Are you currently working in Canada just now or is it just a job offer you have? I notice you say you're on a visitor visa so does that mean you do not have a work permit at present? This maybe the reason they are asking for POF.

No I am working on a work permit, full time.
My wife and 3 oldest children came on visitor / study permits, but got their work permit 3 months after we arived.
So I am the application holder, but we have 4 people working in our family.
Hoping that CIC will count those incomes together, then I don't have any problem.
With only my own income I could come in danger.

Whatever, we will see.

So today I logged into MyCic and saw “updated” on my application.
When I checked, nothing new visible. No ghost email along with this “update”.
Tomorrow my application completes 3 months.
Hoping for good news.

Thanuxxi, You ll get your PPR tomorrow.

How can you make such an assumption? Are you 100% sure about it? If yes, please explain me why?

Anybody have any updates?? Any PPR's been sent??

Feel there are a lot of discussions around FSW and PNP's so thought I'd bump our thread up the pile ;D

I'm still waiting on anything else changing - although don't expect a change for another month or so but you never know!

Hey Guys,'

Do we have any data/excel file to view CEC candidates status in ths forum???
