Hi Friends,
I'm CEC Inland too. Submitted on Dec. 19th, Medicals passed on Jan. 5th and same day my BG went into In Progress.

Hey Keep me posted our timelines are pretty similar! I Submitted my app on Dec 21-2015 Meds passed on Jan 8th -2016. Background and Eligibility in Progress.

I didn't get a ghost email but my background check also went back to not needed at this time. Strange!

It still says Eligibility check in progress. Just weird. I think we are in the same batch. Lets update each other as the status changes.

I completed my Masters in Dec 19, 2014. But, I received open work permit on Feb 19, 2015. Lot of peoples said that, its safe to apply in feb, as they might not count experience from Dec 2014 to Feb 2015.

My question is, for CEC 1 year will be in Feb 19, 2016. Can I apply on Feb 1 2016, as in express they are just asking for month and year not for exact date. Moreover, I am creating profile to apply for BC PNP express entry. It will be fine with CIC if I apply in Feb 1, 2016?

yes the month matters not the date. you will be eligible for CEC on Feb 1st 2016

No, ECAS access has been removed for most of the sub-categories under Express Entry.

My Ghost email came this morning. Based on comments in the forum its usually sent the day after an officer goes into your application - which makes sense.

Have anyone noticed that the processing time now for CEC is 15 months. However the notes still shows 6 months or less. But the calculator on the CIC website shows 15 months. I hope this is an error.

I think 15 months is for regular CEC, not ee CEC.

but while selecting when did you applied... I selected on or after Jan 1, 2015. which should consider as EE and not regular

Don't think anyone who has applied thro EE is able to access ECAS anymore. Check my signature for my timeline.

Inland CEC/In Canada with VISITOR status/Job offer with positive LMIA to support my job offer
I have one question and I would like some advice.
I'm in application for PR under the CEC program.I'm in CANADA and my status is VISITOR.
I have job offer and positive LMIA to support my job offer and I have 4 years experience in Canada in the past 5 year.

My question is: If my application will be approve and I have to do the landing I still have to show POF an the port of entry ?
Can I use my job offer,T4 and Notice of assessment for POF at the port of entry ?

I will appreciate your advice.
