After you add her to your application this will go under review and they will analyze your wife's case; after that, you both are gonna receive a response at the same time (it is one application, not two, so it is either accepted or rejected). This is in my opinion going to make it a little bit of a longer wait, but I wouldn't worry too much about it since your application is probably underneath an inch thick curtain of dust.

Thanks eusquesio. I applied for second BOWP in Sept 2015. I was thinking to apply for SOWP for my wife once I receive BOWP. As I'm adding her to my PR application now, her Visa office will be changed to India later as she is currently in India. During the PR processing if she applies for SOWP will there be any problem? Also if SOWP is given and she comes to Canada, will they be changing the visa office to Canada again??

No It wont be.

I did the same. Aug 27th applicant.

But its better to get the SOWP and then add her name

Hi guys, I am in Canada and my wife is in back home. If want to do the upfornt medical, how can I do it ?

Go to doctor with your file number document.
So then, they will upload your medical to e-medical.

I dont think u need to send if they dont ask.

I'm writing an explanation letter to CIC that I'm adding my wife to my application and listed all the forms and supporting documents. Is it better to say that I'm not sending PCC now and have applied for one and will send once i get it. Or just doesn't say anything about it in the letter?
