My application was received by CIC on the same date as yours , so far there is nothing for me....

After the 14 months passed I was calling CIC monthly, and just asking if there is any thing missing cz the time passed. I always approached them with the attitude that I am just trying to help.

They always said the time is 80 % of applications and things might take longer depends on the verifications, by the end I will ask for a approximate time and they never confirmed, the only answer I got it is in process, all in a sudden I saw all the fast progress.

I am not sure if my calls helped or it was just luck that they got to my file, I suggest you try to call. and based on the answer you can have a vibe.

once the delays started, the processing times are irrelevant now,

CIC are finishing the CEC application to close the program,
It is normal to change the times on the website to match the fact that the applications are delayed, and they are representing the current speed.

the times are not a standard to follow due to the current circumstances.

True, It was expected as the processing times generally increase after the holidays in december.

Congratulations ! what's the NOC ? expect MR any other doc requested , you know , the process time is too long. they may ask for e.g new tax return .etc

Donno agony and anguish is creeping every day......
Canadian Experience Class -> Who has already contributed to economy , proved and working as part of Canadian job market...with all documentations kept waiting....on the other hand...Express entry....points to determine a NEW person and they are IN with PR with in 4-6 months!......I am no complaining on Express Entry but why is CEC group so cursed!!!.....are we like criminals??

What is unexplained thing of security / Criminality or ever what ever section taking ages of time!!!!.......Syrian Refuees.....EE......Holidays....alll are only impacting CEC!!!.....This is possibly last batch of people who are in with all documents what is making it so complex!!!!.....Our T4...Taxes....alll prove our contribution to Canadian economy and we are the one who are neglected only due to political reasons!!!!.......
Get good name in International arena get some Syrian refugees.......

If filling the resource gap is main idea , then we already working here and we stand the first chance.....This is worst phase of my life....11 months->12->13->14->16->17 months now........June applicants still moving line snail!!!.....monthly intake of EE itself is like 3k-4k , I guess remaining all the CEC would be faaar less than that.....I feel it lack of intent from CIC to push forward on CEC 2014 applicants.....Exceptions are always there , but this is insane Delay killing people's lives....aspirations...Families......Canadian Govt cares !!! and if it really , it should reassess its strategy on the left over applications and make a faster progression!!!.......

I believe his NOC is 2172, nope no other documents requested.
But it seems CIC is working afterall but at a slow pace.

You are absoulty right . We are stuck in our life. No idea if its our bad luck or time. But we are the one who is suffering from this system. I dont even remember how many time in a day and night I sw***r the Poor system. For god sake please complete our files. We are stuck CIC .......................................

Guys, at least we are in Canada, safe, happy and working, however we can not change the fact but we can control our reactions. look at the half full part of the cup and be positive that CIC started looking into the pending CEC applications. for sure they cant process every thing in one day, soon all this wait will be past and we will all get our visas and Land.

Just received my GCMS created on Dec 10, 2015. It shows the Eligibility Assessment: Status: Recommend Passes; Criminality: Status: In Progress, but Security: not started. Why security is so slow? Reviewing notes on Nov/28 from the CIC is I have analysed this application upon documents submitted ......... and make the following recommendation (skip the description of my background (very long) in the notes) " Appears to meet requirements". On Nov/28, the Schedule A for Spouse was requested, and on Dec/01, the Sched A for SP request was received. I have not received RPRF up to now since I submitted the Schedule A. Is that safe enough to pay the upfront RPRF now? By the way, will CIC only request RPRF after all eligibility, criminality, and security assessment are done? (Fyi, I completed upfront medical check in August)

We're not all in Canada, safe and happy, I had to go back to my country. I wouldn't mind waiting so long for PR if I was in Canada with my family. My life is literally on hold right now.

hopefully your file will be the next one they reach and you get to join your family soon, I was trying to be positive as the CIC are now looking into the backlog, hopefully that makes the wait less stressful that's all.

Thanks My mom called CIC earlier today on my behalf and they told her my documents are all in order and I should here from CIC in a few weeks or months. So apparently my mom asked them "so is it going to be weeks or months?" and they said they couldn't say fore sure but it will be "soon". At least they are processing our files slowly, so that is some good news for everyone waiting.
