If you received ITA and had enough points without this foreign experience, do not put them under the Work Experience section. Do not make things more complicated for you. Everyone does the same, they only put exp that they have proof of employment to claim points under work exp section, the rest will go under personal history. It is not a misrepresentation.
Thank you very much. Appreciate your help

Hi guys,
I received a Police Clearance certificate when I was last time in India on 15 Feb 2020 during my 05 weeks vacation in India. I left India on 02 March 2020 to come back to Canada. Can I still use that Police Clearance Certificate in my PR application based on ITA I received in May 2020? Please provide your valuable insights. Thanks in Advance.

Hi guys,

I received my ITA on May 1st. Hoping to submit before the end of this month. My question:

I did PCC in June 2019 (Canadian and Nigerian) and havent travelled back home since then. Infact, I have not gone home since 2014 that I came to Canada. Do I have to do PCC again for Nigeria since I didnt go back home? On the Nigeria PCC, it has "valid for three months" written on it though.
If you haven't lived for more than 6 months in a row in last ten years, probably you may not need it. If it is written, valid for three months, then that's what it is.

Date the certificate was issued
For the country where you currently live
The police certificate for the country where you currently live:

  • must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application
  • must not be expired
For any other country
For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.

I think the police certificate from Indian must be issued after you left the country. I am not 100% sure so please wait for others to advise.

Thanks for your response, I saw this link and I'm a bit confused to use the PCC issued from India since I never stayed in India for more than 6 months. Let's wait for others to respond. Appreciate your prompt reply.

I got an employment letter from an employer.

please, anyone, help me by looking at job duties whether I have chosen the right NOC code or not.

2. Built and maintained tools to monitor running processes
3. Interacted with TeamCity to have application builds automated
4. Troubleshoot and resolved issues in dev and test environments
5. Focusses on Infrastructure automation, testing, and deployment DevOps engineering, ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the systems

Hi,
How important is it to submit letters of employment for my accompanying spouse in the e-APR? We had included these work details in the express entry profile but got no CRS points for them. Do we need to pursue proof of this work experience or is it okay to delete them in the e-APR?

You should not have included the work exp if you did not claim any points for them. However, if you are 100% sure that you got no points for them and don't have a proper letter of employment, I would suggest writing LOE to explain that you have difficulty in collecting paperwork and at the same time you don't claim any points so you delete them after ITA.
Be careful because if you got points for this exp, delete them will change your CRS.

I did not include it in the work exp section of the APR. Those details were transferred from our express entry profile, where they asked for all our work experience. But I'm certain no points were awarded for it. I was just not sure whether it's okay to remove irrelevant details that were on the initial EE profile, now that we're at the APR stage.

Hi, i have received my ITA. In the application I didn’t add my job in bangladesh in work history where I resigned 8 years ago. But its coming into my personal history section. Do I have to add it in work history as well? For sure it will add some extra hassle of collecting reference letter but if needed should collect the documents. Looking for your suggestions. Thanks
If you are claiming points for work experience from Bangladesh, then you should add under job history. If not, then you will under personal history will be sufficient.

Has anyone got a status/seek bar on their express entry profile after documents submission. I applied on May 5, got AOR on May 6. But there is no status bar as of now! Anyone has got it?

Hello,
My salary mentioned in the job offer letter at the beginning of my job differs my actual salary in the t4 due to reduced number of work hours.

I am talking about the appointment letter for my current job and did not claim 50 points for the employer job offer. However, I did submit my previous job offer letter for extending my spouse’s open work permit.

Will the difference in the amount create any problem?

Please help!

i was also on vacation for 2 months, its ok no problem in that
Does the one year experience need to be in Canada itself? I work as a sales person and regularly travel to USA. I still get paid for those days when I am in abroad. I thought this rule is applicable only for citizenship. Can you clarify?

Your employment is with a company in Canada. Your travel to the USA is on your business trips so there should be no problem.
