How did you get the medical and pcc? I got ITA but my birthday is coming on this May 20th. I will lose 10 points but will get it back after Aug 15th when I complete one more year of exp in Canada. Should I submit now or should I wait until last date July 31st?
did both PCC and meds early March. You get 60 days to upload all docs so anyways it takes time so meanwhile if you get ITA somewhere in next draw so you'll have 60 days to apply. if meanwhile you complete your 1 year experience, its good. I dont see any harm.

you can count those weeks, however, you need to have some more weeks on top of Nov 2019 to compensate for whatever missing hours to make it 30 hours/week.

Hi there, if you were on a paid vacation, do you still need to compensate for that? Thank you.

CIC says a reasonable period of vacation time will be considered as eligible work experience under the CEC. e.g., a two-week period of paid vacation leave within a given 52-week period in which the applicant was engaged in qualifying work experience. Please go through the link below for more information. Hope this helps.

Hello guys,
I received ITA under CEC based on my Canadian work experience. But I do have 1+ years of Foreign work experience which I didn't show in my express entry profile since my foreign employer declined to provide a reference letter outlining my roles/responsibility and I had enough points at that time to get ITA based on my Canadian job. Now I'm thinking should I declare this 1+ year of Foreign work experience in the "Work Experience section" while submitting my PR application with knowing that I do not have a proper reference letter from employer or would it be a misrepresentation by not declaring it in work experience section. For sure, I will be declaring this work experience in the Personal History section of my application. How do you guys show work experience for non-primary jobs (or non-qualifying jobs)? Any response will be deeply appreciated.

Need help....
I am CEC candidate. I got ITA on 1st May 2020. I started working as full time on 21st April 2019 and my job is still continuous. However, I took unpaid vacation of 6 week’s during this period. I also sat down at home for 1 month due to Covid 19. So total time duration of absence at work is 2.5 months.
Now I have following questions?
Should I accept ITA and start the process?
Shoul I wait till 2.5 months to cover up my 1 year full time work experience because IRCC now allows everyone 90 days to submit his application?
Prompt respond will be thankful......
Might be best to wait and make up for your vacation days, since you already got 90 days period to submit application. I did the same.

anyone’s please,

work experience noc B full time from 7 April 2019 to 9 April 2020, laid off due to shortage of work now,

Can I start another job which is offered to me from 17 May 2020 ( different employer) noc C

will it affect my express entry profile now? I am going to apply by the end of May (got ITA on 1st May)

thanks
As long as you completed one year of full-time work i.e not less than 30 hours per week for 12 months, you should be fine. As far as I know.

You have to update your status, regarding your employment records, though, which means you have also to provide a reference letter for your current job.

Good Luck, and do not worry.

Police check I used a service that cost me much money, but worth it bc it is very fast. I just need to give them passport photo, my parent full name,... and then got PCC in a week. It depends on your country to have that service or not. This service in the Embassy even cost more than that, double price, so I dont use it.
For medical, all clinic open now, you can book through panel physician north york which does full pack of exam. Visadoctor also good but they dont do exam for blood pressure and eye
About Visadoctor will that be a problem for the validity of the Medical Exam? I mean the BP and the EYE test

If you received ITA and had enough points without this foreign experience, do not put them under the Work Experience section. Do not make things more complicated for you. Everyone does the same, they only put exp that they have proof of employment to claim points under work exp section, the rest will go under personal history. It is not a misrepresentation.

The others had the exam in visadoctor and have already had medical pass. So, i think there wont be a problem. But if you can have both these tests, it will be better. Plus the price is so much cheaper at north york panel physician and the other clinics, $220 at north york panel physician compared to $280 at visadoctor (this is the price for weekdays, weekends are different). At the time I book appt, only visadoctor open, so I have no choices

Hi guys,

I received my ITA on May 1st. Hoping to submit before the end of this month. My question:

I did PCC in June 2019 (Canadian and Nigerian) and havent travelled back home since then. Infact, I have not gone home since 2014 that I came to Canada. Do I have to do PCC again for Nigeria since I didnt go back home? On the Nigeria PCC, it has "valid for three months" written on it though.

According to IRCC instructions, it states the following
For any other country
For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.

Some countries put expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:

  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live
An officer may ask for a new one later on.
