Caregiver Pilot Program Applicants - 2024

Here's my timeline:
Applied on January 1, 2024 - Inside Canada, Gaining Experience ( 6 Months work experience at that time). Family of 4. One is non accompanying.
April 19- AOR and Biometric Letter
June 26- Proof of Work Updated via WebForm
July 31- Medical Letter Request, police clearance for my husband.

For medical request only my husband and the non accompanying child got this request. Is it because my medical was still valid on the time of application? My medical was valid until March 30,2024 and I applied for PR on Jan 1,2024.

Have anyone encountered the police clearance request abroad? My husband has travelled to ivory coast and south africa as "transit visa" only. Just one day because he's a seafarer by profession. IRCC is asking for police clearance for this countries. Please share your experience about this. My plan is just to write an explanation letter that the stay on those countries are just for a day.

Hello,

I applied for HCCP 2024 gaining experience, outside Canada.

I received eligibility letter and PAL on July 30th, 2024 but still have not received PPR.

Anyone on the same boat? Do I need to do anything?

Pre Arrival is for PR and Eligibility letter is another owp. Which do you think will be your next step? PR or OWP?

Checking this morning my tracking online, it says Final decision - August 12, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. Not sure what's next.

Well, this is weird. I received a call from IRCC, and they said my Eligibility Letter providing an occupation-restricted open work permit was wrong.... The agent confirmed that my Permanent Residence was approved since I already provided work experience proof. Now waiting for an email to confirm my physical presence in Canada and get ecopr. Thank God it has been a long journey. I wish you all the best for people on the road.

I got confirmation today to login into my original PR application that I made in January 2024 and upload photo for PR. The Journey is over!, Best of luck Guys and God bless your efforts!

I read somewhere that IELTS is one of the requirements, I would like to ask if it is IELTS academic? please provide me with employers who may offer job to caregivers who are currently outside Canada.

Program is closed.English ielts is general. There are other English tests accepted not only ielts. Google hccp canada to check official sources.
