Well I still can't access ecas. Been that way since at least mon. I recieved a mail from my visa office that they were working on my wife's application and requested two immigration size photos and her birth certificate so I believe from what I have been reading on the forums that her application is near completion........In short....by the time ecas is up and running my wife could very well have her visa in hand. :o

Just got off the phone with CIC about 20 minutes ago. They were trying to upgrade software applications apparently. ECAS is expected to be down for another 48 hours.

Dang thought they were updating my status!

Thanks for contacting CIC!
Now back to try and login again for the 10th time today :(

well we have hit the 1 week mark of not being able to log in :-X I sent an e-mail to the "webmaster" about it mostly to make myself feel a tiny bit better ;) I think I would be slightly less pissed off about it if they at least had like a bulletin on the main page saying that there might be some issues with e-cas or something like that so that at least we all didn't have to get the lame "maybe that UCI number (that you have been typing in here at least once a day for the last year mind you) isn't correct... yeah maybe but it is CIC we are talking about here and they never take any blame.....

I agree! They should have had it posted somewhere that there was maintenance being done.

i logged in last on sunday and from monday it is not letting me log inn....i don't what the issue is,...so i tried to email the VO,...and i got a auto reply from VO: saying this

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

vienn-visa@international.gc.ca

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain international.gc.ca by mail5.international.gc.ca. [198.103.104.106].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.7.1 Error: Rejected

anyone tried to contact VO

I didn't try contacting my VO, I contacted the folks in Canada about it. EEK. good luck!

This is all very strange... I logon every single day for the past couple of months (I know what you are thinking :-[ but it makes me feel better, ok? LOL) and it has worked for me every single day. It's very weird why only some people have had trouble.. it doesn't appear that the whole system has been down.

I log on every day too IslandAnnie lol. It also makes me feel better even though I know there will be no change. There is always that hope that maybe it will be my lucky day.

I tried to send an email to the webmaster but it will not let me click on the link!
