I am Canadian citizen sponsoring my spouse and daughter. We both adopted her from outside the US (while married living in the US) 8 years ago. She has since become a US citizen. Will I need to use a different kind of form to apply for sponsorship? Or perhaps a different app for PR?

Thank you, kindly.

No, just add her to the spousal sponsorship. The additional fee is $150 (I believe). She will also need the immigration medical exam.

This is assuming that she is under the age of 19.

Provided you were born in Canada or naturalized in Canada prior to adopting the child, you can actally apply directly for a grant of Canadian citizenship.

Wow...I had no idea. That's great news for the OP (hopefully).
