in my personal opinion, you`ve 2 option - 1> do your visa cancellation, and when you exit the UAE, after that inform to abu dhabi Canada consulate that you have left UAE along with your exit document. 2> WithDraw application from UAE and once you go back to India Re-apply again from there.
if you`ll read this whole thread there is lot of people are waiting from last 6months for the result processing for Work Permit in UAE is too slow.

Thank you @chetan4080 for your advise, is that okay to withdraw the application from UAE ?? also if they required any documents Like Medical or anything i can do it from India?? at present i had completed 13 weeks, i may leave UAE on October 1st week so that time i will reach around 18 weeks,My LMIA is going to Expire on November that is the challenge if i withdraw the application from UAE.

Best thing i would say inform them about your plan and schedule also mention about this... cuz i was thinking to withdraw my application previously and apply inland since i was in Canada last month on visit but my consultant advise not do just a matter of 6 weeks since that time the processing time was showing 19 weeks. and later on my 19th week the processing time changed to 30 weeks, after i came back from there.

Hi guyz, my WP application was submitted on 30 april 2019. It shows as below.
Eligibility- reviewing eligibility
Medical- don’t need
Additional documents- don’t need
Interview- don’t need
Biometric- 1 may 2019 completed
Background check- processing background check
Final decision- application is in progress, will send you message, once final decision has been made.

My question is, how long time period it may take more on making final decision? Any guesses guys ? thank you.
@Laxman123 best of luck with your application, lot of people waiting for more than 30 weeks. so depend on your luck.

hello, my application is 33 weeks already this week. I applied January 10 and will exactly be 8 months on September 11. Anyone here in the same boat? like 33 weeks or so as well? I do not know what to do. I am here in Singapore on tourist visa since June (I have exited UAE already) :(

You can send inquiry through IRCC web from about your current status to ask why has delayed. Because your file has already crossed the given time limit.

Sis have you tried to send a webform to IRCC to check it out if there is any update from your application? Are you done with your medical?

hi there, I have sent webforms multiple times and the reply is that my app is in queue for review of an immigration officer.

Do you apply for WP with LMIA or without or you apply for SOWP and if you apply with LMIA do you have any contact from you employer

I applied for WP with LMIA (for Caregiver) so I have a contract. I have my employer's contact information and my employer is touching base with IRCC inside Canada as well, but since my application is being processed in UAE, meaning overseas of Canada, officers in Canada can not do anything about it but they can see if there is an update made to my file. That is all they can do :(

OK good so my advice you need to tell your employer to write an official letter with subject URGENT and they wait you more than 8 month and it's effect his business because they need you and they pay 1000$ not for nothing and he will send it to you and after that you will attach the letter in web form and I hope they will answer you this is the plan B
