Can my spouse sponsre me if she is receiving EI?

My spouse is sponsoring me. And she was employed for the last 6 months and has recently been laid off. Can she collect EI and still sponsor me while looking for work? I know that sponsors are disqualified if they are using social assistance.

Yes she can. EI isn't social assistance. EI is employment insurances. It is 2 different things.
