I submitted the passport today because the deadline will expire in a few days, unfortunately no BIL or responses recieved yet

In my mother case is Colombia, and yes it was for a new visa application with a new Biometricos check mark, contacted sereval times though web forms, not update recieved, nothing back from them

Nothing yet . Thinking to submit the passport and reapply once biometric gets expired

new update, i got the BIL today but the passport was ready submited last tuesday, then i got another email informing that my passport will be returned to resend it with the new Biometrics, i used this another webform link last week, https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx,

Great! Thanks for the update. Do you think it means I have to send the passport in? The deadline already passed.

Please let me know if you sent out the passport and how it went. based on latest updates in the forum, maybe sending out the passport would trigger issuing the BIL, even if not the most convenient way.
