Hello Folks! I had been having Canada Tourist visa for the last 9 years. My Canada Visa is getting expired in December 2025 and in meanwhile i had to renew my Passport due to travel to other countries. Can i renew my Canadian Tourist Visa now or i should wait for the visa to expire, which is considered to be in my old passport. My last entry to Canada was in May 2025 for 10 days. Any Suggestions?

You still have a valid visa till December 2025 so no need to renew now. You can apply for ‘Can plus’ catagory in that you dont have show any proof of financial documents. As you have traveled to canada in the last 10 years. Apply only after the expiry of your current trv. Hope this helps

I suggest you not to apply now. Canadian visas are no longer given for 10 year validity by default. They may give you visa with 6 months validity only.

It depends on the situation. these days most people are getting till passport expiry it they are going to meet a family member. Rest with hotel booking are getting for few months.
