Visa Renewal.

Hello Folks! I had been having Canada Tourist visa for the last 9 years. My Canada Visa is getting expired in December 2025 and in meanwhile i had to renew my Passport due to travel to other countries. Can i renew my Canadian Tourist Visa now or i should wait for the visa to expire, which is considered to be in my old passport. My last entry to Canada was in May 2025 for 10 days. Any Suggestions?

Hi, i hold a previous Canada Visitor visa valid until Jan 2026. I also renewed my passport in Apr 2025.

I applied for new Canada visitor visa on 2nd August 2025 (as i read on forums you can apply 6 months before expiry - however this is not stated on the official website) i mentioned travel dates in the letter for around 3 weeks in Feb 2026.

Existing Biometric until 2032
PPR - 13th Aug 2025
Previously travelled to Canada in 2023 for around 25 days.
I applied from Dubai. I do hold valid US visit visa. Even though i fall under CAN+ category i submitted all the documents - bank statement, travel history etc.
