Hi there, as far as I know the embassy doesn't contact you asking you to submit your application. You have to fill out all the forms, send it all in, and then they will contact your wife (at least in my case) to tell her she has been approved to sponsor you or not.eyas said:Hi All
I am new to this group...
my wife is sponsored me, i am expecting a contact from the embassy soon in order to submit my applications..
I need your help and guidelines to go through the applications and the whole processes...
Any one from Sudan??
Thanks in advance
Oh, I see. It's a different case from mine, as I am a Canadian citizen bored and raised, and my husband is Egyptian. So, from what I understand they should contact you to say whether or not you are accepted under her application? Maybe you will both find out at the same time? To be honest, I don't know much about this, so I don't think I can be of much help, but I wish you both good luck and maybe someone else on the forum can be more useful.eyas said:Thanks for the reply
I would like to add that my wife is in Canada, she applied for PR as protected person, she included me in her application as dependent
she didn't received her PR yet, she is still in step1 but hopefully soon she will pass it (expected nex month), what i understood that the CIC should contact me in order to submitt my applications

@mosaab, if i were you instead of waiting til the end of November to know whether the mp actually communicated or not with the visa office i would order my GMCS note and you might even be shocked that the mp is just telling you a story cos that has happened to me with my mp.mosaab said:more than one month passed since my wife contact her MP

Parliament is prorogued right now, so that might be why people aren't hearing back from their MPs at the moment. Just a thought.mosaab said:more than one month passed since my wife contact her MP

No, there won't be an election soon. It just means that the current Prime Minister is abusing his power and that one or both chambers of the legislature have ended all legislative business until the governor general or lieutenant governor issues a proclamation calling for a new session of parliament to begin. So yes, it's temporary (one month is this case). This also happened a few years ago, by the same Prime Minister. It seems to be his way to buy time so he gets what he wants.mosaab said:Hi CairoCouple
I imagined that this thing can happen only in the Arab countries
what does that mean , Will there be an election soon ? or it's just a temporary prorogued !!
