i think Islamabad is much different from Cairo visa office
bcz first of all guys here after the applicants got approval for sponsorship and thier file transferred to Islamabad visa office
the visa office their requesting the passport after the medical received and thats not meaning end of trip no it just start and requesting the passport is meaning that visa in the way hell no
they requesting the passport to see the travel history bcz each embassy there for any country give stamp of visa or deny of application for visa they put that stamp in passport and ithink denial visa is kind of red flag for the applicants ,in the last several years ago many much applicant were hiding their travel history bcz some security goals and they afraid of get reject and for example some one apply for visa to usa and deny so they run to canadian embassy in islamabad and what about their foot doesnt stop runing to the embassy
and also what about if the applicant went to the countries of violence like afganstan and Chechnya guys do u forget that usa was and still in Afghanistan and still and many Pakistani guys went there for jihad come one and many people join Taliban if they didnt join ben laden so the visa office there want to have the passport of the applicant while they making their own search of background
so that why they making many and many and many security chek in applicant
regarding to Pakistani woman i think she is much different from Egyptian woman woman here is working many jobs and doing many thing she had many rights more than woman there
guys i know Benazir Bhutto she was the prime minister of Pakistan but honestly Pakistan is not islamabad
it more they are very much religious and majority of them are not recommend that the woman can work her only job is taking car of house or homemaker
but here is totally different from Pakistan
that why Egypt is not same as Pakistan

i think my case is Different cuz i went throw the interview and they took everything even the passport, last thing i got from them that i will be contact once Decision is taken, while my e-case status still application received

go and contact cic and make ur sponssor contact her MP
I read all ur post and it show that u apply since nov 2011 u went through interview they told u they will answer u 5 weaks later
but its cleary they requesting many stuff
or you can wait untill ur medical will be receive imean the new one and also they might make some secuirty check on u
its just time for u, u almost done

how did u find out abt ur file being transferred to ottawa ? does ottawa processes the cases faster ??? any idea? and by lukin at ur timeline it seems ur file first got transferred to cairo and then ottawa ? can u pls explain ur case ?

Finally I got the PPR it's about time after my file been in Cairo visa office for 15 months so far . Alhamdulelah ... I hope the best for every one .. But I still have one question if any has an expeince .. Did any one sent the passport via prepaid carrier from USA to Cairo . And will I have Any issues with returning it ?? Thanks

Thanks . Well I guess the main reason for this delay is the background check I guess . Iam palestinain lived in Canada And currently living in the USA . The other thing is missing my RPRF payment which I had already paid upfront on 2010 and lost it and found out that my payment wasnot found or submited to Cairo visa office after 2 months of waiting .I forgot to mention that I did a second medical on 6.20. 2012 and 2 months later found out that my RPRF payment is not in the system . So I paid again just to avoid any more delay with finding the old payment . Paid it on august 23 and received the ppr on Sunday sept.2.2012 . So my delay was cus of that 3 things just mentioned ..

(my husbands egyptian im in canada, and canadian hes in egypt)
We sent it Friday Augoust 31 2012.
When can I excpect to hear from them next? Also, do they loose documents easily? the carrier didn't have a bag to put my documents in so I had to wrap them in an elastic band. Im freaking out now, becuase I wnat this to go by fast...

Is it possible for me and him to live in another country while they process our documents?

Received sponsorship approval on march/20/2011
My file was sent to demscus and then sent to Cairo received by may/15/2011
AOR .June /23/2011
Second medical request June /10/2012
Status changed to in process June /10/2012
interview ... waived
Medical have been received on July /12/2012
Second payment of RPRF august /23/2012
Finally after long way journey PPR . Sept/2/2012
Going to send my passport tomorrow inshallah ..

My husband has this military thing to avoid in Egypt. I have no idea what I can do for that, other than get him out of the country. But I have no idea how =(

Where can Egyptians travel too these days without a hard time in visas?
and is that ok for our processing stuff?

It shows that sponsorship takes 66 days that is great it went all the way to 95 days if not more
