i think you need to be sure iof which identify you must choose it if you talking about that number they sent you from mississuaga so maybe its to early to chek the status but if that number from Ottawa so you must be sure of number you entering and the identify hope that helping you

wondering about the sponsership approval letter didn't reach for 1 month now since the day it was being sent....is it normal???????...
 
hi mr.x....tell me ur status sponsor or applicant?? and what is the identification type u used to enter in the site(id ,receipt,apl number or what)?

all i know about that my wife got email on 22 september it say they received the Application then she got another email in 28 November that it sayes *You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. *
then its my turn i got email from Pilot-Ottawa office in December 14 it sayes The file was transferred to the Case Processing
i think i can log in with that information with the Identification Type immigration file number-application number so i used
the Identification Number its start with F00005**** and every time i try to log in it sayes ** thes service is only available to clients with application in process . we may have received your application but not yet begun processing it
is that normal ? they said in the last email they send me The file was transferred to the Case Processing that was a week ago , so what's wrong ?

When they start processing you will be able to get on your profile and it will say started processing on (month date year) but until they start processing your file, you will continue to get that message.Your sponser will see it on theirs as well when it changes, it will say in process.

I found this today while looking around more paper work changes :(

Noticed this change in ALL guides on December 16, 2011:

Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
•the English or French translation; and
•an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
•a certified copy of the original document.

Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.

Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable.
 
my husband just received email from cairo visa office to send his passport ;D thank god , i am praying for all of you to be united with your beloved ones ya rab, shall he send his passport & photos & what else ?
 
shall he book the ticket after receiving the visa or before receiving it , he might be here before 7 january ,,, but i am concerned that visa issuance can take a long time..

I think they tell you what to bring,, read the email all over again to make sure you bring what ever they ask for.

Maybe those who went through this stage will let you know exactly what to expect..
