This math doesn't make any sense to me at all. Am I missing something? If 20% get the visa in 6 months, that only leaves 80% to get visas... Anyway, I'll still just hope for less than 18 months.

this is the first time they have contacted us since our file was received in Cairo visa office!!! ....anyway now they sent as asking for documents that are proof that my wife will go back with me to Canada...

what about yours ?if you dont mind .............

more than one year and 1 email before 1 week !! It's a deadly matter

they send me because there is an error occurred , after i got the SA before 2 months they told me they sent my file to tel-aviv office then i start to contact tel-aviv to pay the RPRF , i sent them the receipt after paying , they replied me and said you have to contact the Cairo office they are responsible for your application

I sent the Cairo office to explain what happend with me and i attached my RPRF receipt they replied me after one week and told me

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the immigrant category in which applicant has applied currently require approximately 12 months, as per new standards, to process for routine cases.

this is my story ..!

Now she is with me in Sudan. My all experience is waiting n waiting as I told you before I never heard from them till last week. But I believe every case is different from others. Good luck for all us.

my wife in Canada now she planing to vist me ,and you know the processing it too long
and I cant wait another year or more without my wife and son

so plz tell me your experience with this visiting , duration ? and did you told the the CIC about the visiting !!

Is your wife a citizen or a PR? As a PR she is required to stay in Canada with the exception of reasonably timed vacations. As a citizen she is free to travel whatever duration she pleases. Either way tell them!

As HRH said he was asked to submit documents to prove his wife will return to Canada. So they know she is with him.

It is great proof for an application. If your wife and son come to visit take pictures and get copies of the tickets to send the VO.

The proof of return is for HRH as his wife is not merely visiting. She is living outside Canada during the process.

Every person had a different opinion I suppose . Mine is that living with your spouse is better. Not that I actually had that option, my husband and I were apart 18 months. Each case is different. You need to do what is best for your wife and son. Not what someone tells you is best for your application.

If you have the means to be together and it is what you want and feel is best then do what you need to do.

as made in canada said the visiting its not important to the vo in my case , because my wife live with me out side canada.but she travel to canada to visit her family time to time .

ya i know every case different from others , all of the story i miss my family i will do any thing might reunion us again
