No no, I am not concerned, I just wanted to make a comment that these guys have different answers and not consistent. But I can see things are moving so....just wait...

Not sure.

What I know is that we all are in the queue - if IA received, RPRF sent and additional document sent and if it has been 3 months - Its just matter of days now...may be 1.5 weeks... hang on there.

I am not sure how many PPR do they actually send per day? or may be its Officer Specific..for example: if Mr. John is reviewing for 5 of us, then we might have to wait..but if we have different officers, thats better...

Cheers

it seems that all the notification of the PPR is by e-mail, not my mail?

Most are ... if you gave them your email on the application.

On a separate note, I fired off yet another case processing inquiry (last one was a few weeks ago). I got the same generic response saying "application is in progress and we can't give you a date it'll be done". The reason for my email was that both my passport and work permit are expiring in July so I want to plan ahead.
This is getting really frustrating now.

To winnipegmb: You should get your PP renewed atleast, they will stamp the pp but requires minimum validity of 6 months. Our timelines for med is the same, did you got IA? my med was mailed on 17th Aug, got IA on 24th Dec, PP request last week.
To 4mfamily: Yes, mines was through email, in response to the email i sent them for enquiry of my status of appl. btw i did informed them i want to travel in Mar, i think that speed up my case.

Good luck to everyone here.
