Buffalo's processing time

no, my work permit is from company sponsor. My WP expires next year Feb/2012, that is why when I got nominated I renewed my WP first and then submitted my application to Buffalo to be in the safe side.

Dont waste your time looking at ecas anymore!

Its been more than the avg processing time (11 mons - Buffalo) since I applied. So, I thought why not send a case specific enquiry yesterday. I got the reply within a day. haha...why dont they show the same spped in sending pprs & paasports!!!
Below is the reply...

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.
e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.
Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo.

Hope you folks had a nice, long weekend. ANOTHER week and hope some of us receive some good news this week. Good luck to all of us. Its a Tuesday too, so check out your Ecas (does not help and is not updated but you know how databases work)....

I won't see the ECAs status . as it is not reliable. I prefer to wait for such a good news by mail or e-mail... end of Feb is coming, please give us all the PPR!

Hi,

What time did you send the message and what time did they reply? Hope you are not talking about the auto reply message.

The reason I am asking is I sent them a message and they have not responded yet so are they are either pissed off with my email or they are looking into it

hehe. exactly the same i received first week of February. Expect a response by next week. I got the same response on a Thursday and the Thursday after, I received a response from Processing Team. Please let us know of the outcome. I assure that either you get your PPR or 'final review'... Good Luck.

NO, this is NOT an auto response. If the file has been forwarded for final stages, administration might forward it to the right department or if there is any technical information that Admin cannot answer the question or urgency required. Its a good sign....

Yep, I just said "I would like to follow up on the status of my application"

Yay - Tuesday is over and NO PPR. This reminds of South Park episode where Cartman waits for a game and counts every second...lol (If you guys watch South Park).
