hi molson. it seems to be fine coz my draft was already cashed...

Hi Can you please any one suggest me on this case.

I applied my PNP PR in 2010 Oct.
Buffalo received my file on march 1st 2011.
I got AOR and Medicals on sep 12th 2011.
Mean this time i got changed my status single to married.
I want to update my file with my wife details.
Can any one suggest me which forms do i need send.

Thanks,

this is regarding on our PR card we landed in toronto as immigrant last june 24, 2011 but until now we're still waiting for our PR card, i tried to follow up our PR card and we find out that there's a mistake on the date on arrival base on their record we landed june 23, 2011 but the truth are we landed of june 24, 2011 base also on our COPR and passport, they says it must be a cause of delayed until now almost 3 months there's no card yet for us and its under investigation what do you think what will happen on our card it's possible they will issue card or it will cause a problem on our status thanks

For me, it was 8 months for PR processing with CIC-Buffalo. That includes my wife as well who presently resides in our home country and will be landing shortly. I've recently obtained visa and CPR in-person from Buffalo and then landed in Canada (through Niagara-Buffalo border) on 20 September, 2011. PR card will be mailed in 4~6 weeks from now.

My detail timeline is given below in my signature. Thanks. Wish you all the best!

WOW
this is really strange...
I applied as a bcpnp nominee also... the cic buffalo received my full application on dec30th 2010. I received my AOR with the medical July 14th,2011. and did the medical right away. I believe they received my Med in august 2011 (there is no date mentioned on cic ecase website)
and I have not received anything else from them. and the few emails and replies I received were all the same and saying that my application is in queue for review. (which review I don't know.) it has been seven months since they received my med. I really wonder what has happened to my file? they don't respond to anything. I hate this limbo I am in.
anyone has any idea?
cheers and good luck to you all

I am in a similar situation. But my case is a bit complicated. Application received in March. Our first med were done in Sep, my husband had an additional med exam done in Oct. It has been 4-5 months already. I checked Ecas, the status remained the same these whole times , which is "application received". I emailed Buffalo, they said it was in process, without any detail given....

There has been delay in processing especially for Oct' 2010 and Dec' 2010 applicants. One of my colleagues, who is in same position as mine re: employment, applied in Dec, 2010 and is still waiting for his PPR. I guess you know the date of medical reception from your e-CAS. Sometimes there is more security checks done on some nationals. Or, you are just unlucky in terms of applying in Dec, 2010.

I would recommend you to do case-specific enquiry or email Buffalo IMM-Manager or her Assistant.

Thanks for the info
funny thing is since they received the medical which was in august they didn't even contact or nothing...
I got my AOR a week before you and got my medical done july 21st
and it has been seven months. they never contacted me or anything and all the email replies are obviously coming from a machine because they are identical and they all say it's in Qeue for review?!?!?! even calling CIC is pointless I have got worried very very much...

Did you know that your medical result is valid for only 12 months? Buffalo is aware of it and hence would try to complete your immigration within the remaining period. Moreover, they would only contact you for PPR or RPRF or any other additional docs they require after medical.

In your case, you should email any of the following:

Catherine Bailey, Immigration Program Manager (Catherine.Bailey@international.gc.ca)

Kathy Benner, Program Assistant (Kathy.Benner@international.gc.ca)

Be very polite and cordial in asking about your case update. Mention that it has been 7 months since Buffalo received your medical.

Hi. Catherine and Kathy are processing all the categories or only PNP? I am asking to give it a try.
Thanks.
