Don't worry, your turn will come very soon. :)

Did anyone use the Xpress USA prepaid envelope from Canada Post to have the passports sent back from Ottawa to USA? FYI, Canada Post does not ship them to US, so I bought one from Amazon today. This envelope is the only one allowed by CIC to be used as prepaid, it does not allow FedEx or UPS, is that correct?
Let us know if you have experience with this service.
Thanks.

That's very good idea. Can you tell me exactly what to do? I mean I am in Europe so in that case?

I truly like your faith. I will also do like you by getting every necessary document ready in anticipation of my PPR

Dear All,

I got my passports back from Ottawa with the visa stamped; i have updated my timeline on the left; took around 22 months for the process from the time the application was filed. Planning to complete my landing formalities this weekend at the rainbow bridge.

Thanks everyone for this thread, very useful information and wishing all their PRs soon.

Best Regards

If you live in the states your pp will be mailed by CIC thru REGULAR MAIL.

really? even if you have a prepaid xpresspost envelope? this xprespost post envelope is sold by Canada Post and designed to be mailed and tracked in the USA. I thought I read somewhere that other people successfully used it.

and how exactly do you know this? CIC says that only approved means of tracking is xpresspost prepaid envelope. Well, Canada Post has a prepaid envelope to be used in USA too....I believe this will work

copy and paste from CIC email:

"If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on Canada Post.

If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned by regular mail."

i believe veri33 is correct.

I also believe that the link posted by Veri33 (see below) should settle this discussion since it is self explanatory
