No, sorry I got you wrong! We had sent the police clearance back in September, 2013

Expect it any time. Normally RPRF comes together with MR or the MR comes about a day after RPRF. In your case, I'm not sure why it has delayed this much (based on your timeline). Just curious-check your emails around the time you received MR to make sure nothing was overlooked. Let's see what others say!

I just wanna correct myself, i got the request to pay the fee which i did, around the first week of November and the same week i did my medicals.
I am really waiting to get the request for passport and really have no clue as to whats going on in the Immigration office.
Dont understand whats creating the hold up, when all the documents have been sent, which have been asked by the Visa officer.

Hi Aashay12,

After you done medical and pay RPRF, It takes usually 2-3 weeks to update your medical to CIC. So my suggestion is to wait cs they will start working in January and u will get your PP request sometime in Jan. You almost there so don't agitate you will get it soon.

Today, my ECAS status changed to "IN Process" as of dec 30th. It took 2 months after medical for ECAS to change status.

here is my situation:
My officer is DS01608, anybody else has same officer?
Its been 2 months since I have done my medicals, and 4 weeks for sending all the requested documents , but I haven't heard anything back from him.
can I do CSI?, If yes can I email directly to him by adding his number in subject line of CSI? is it the right time to request for CAIPS?
Could you please suggest me

i got the following email in this very morning , thanks anyways

Date: January 2, 2014

Dear Applicant E#XXXXXXXXX

We will grant an additional thirty (30) days extension in order to submit the FBI certificate for yourself and your wife.


This will be the final request letter we will send in these regards.

Please note:

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. If you are unable to provide any or all of the requested documents/information, please explain why they are not available.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 30 days from the date of this e-mail. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated above.



If we do not hear from you within 30 days, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused.

If I were you, I would wait a little longer. Based on the time flame of other members including me in this forum, most of us who did medicals between October and November-2013 have not had PPR and therefore yours is not a unique case. It is advisable to start counting from the time the Medicals were received rather than the time they were done because the cases are processed in the order they are received. Depending on the time the DM sent the medicals, some slight differences will always be there. What do others say?

Finally I'm sending today my FBI after one more month CIC gave me since I didn't get it on time. Now since I'm FSW2 and hoping all is okay how long do you guys thing is going to take until I get my passport request?
Please any experience or anything to share... This waiting is killing me
