Hello to all! I did my medicals a couple weeks ago and they were delivered to Ottawa on september the 4th.Is there anyone else here who has done medicals in August and september? just to keep track of their timeline. Thanks!

Yes i sent my medicals in August 10, 2012 to cpp-Ottawa under PNP stream.

Hello All,

My ecas status shows application received on July,2011 under FSW. I live in New Jersey, USA and I got my file no generated in Octoberr,2011 ( email from CIO Nova scotia ) and email says my application will be sent to respective consulate which I suppose would be buffalo, Since than my file status shows in process. All documents along with IELTS score has been sent with original Documents.

How would I can find out that my application has been transferred to CPP-Ottawa or New York Consulate. What will be the time line to get even Med request from them. I am desperate to move to canada since i am struggling in US economy. I emailed to both CPP-ottawa and New York about like 2 months ago. I have not got any reply from them.

Appreciate your input.

If you know some one in canada, they can apply for CAIPS under Access to information act.

If not Just google CAIPS, you can pay $40, to get your file information.

I am in canada so i applied for it. But no use. It only shows upto the file transfer to Ottawa.

Unless you apply for yourself, its not free. Your uncle need to pay $5. He or you can pay it online & just scan the receipt & send.

Here i have attached 2 forms

1) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5475e.pdf

IMM 5475e needs to filled in by you & signed. Then scan & send it your uncle.

2) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

IMM 5563 should be filled in by your uncle, please select access to information act. signed by him, & scan it.


Send all the scanned documents including fee receipt & your uncle residency proof to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca

You should get back the information of your file in 30 days.

Hi all, just got a call from my MP, i asked him to check for my request status, he said he contacted the Ottawa office and they told him that they are still assigning the folders and they can't give any update before at least Oct 1st.

Hi everyone,

I talked to my local MP here in Canada, and he's like, we need to wait at least 60 days, most probably in August-2012 we will start getting any news from Ottawa.

If you think asking the MP to check status will perform some magic, think again. The MP probably doesn't know more than you do. And to think that the visa offices don't even know when processing will be finished.

@ com2canada FYI, MP has more information then you, they can directly contact to CIC where we can't, they can even tell when your medical request when will be initiate if the time is closer to it, they have most updated information and they can contact with the visa officer who are processing your file. At least that's what I know, I hope this will help.
