Nothing has been started except eligibility review done by CIO-Sydney.

Rephrasing the same question asked before!

I received an email from OTT Pilot - Immigration yesterday (Aug 14) to get my medical exam done (with medical instruction forms). I am on Post grad work permit in Canada, expiring in Dec 2012. I am planning to get medical done this week and hope that i can get my PR before Dec 2012.
My question is, what is the current timeline on results (Immigration office asking for submitting passport & PR fee) after getting your medical done & assuming that my DMP sending results in two weeks to OTT ottawa pilot.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Also, should i be thinking about getting an LMO(have a permanent job with employer willing to file LMO) as i am close to my work permit expiration date.

I think no one knows any current timelines
I can tell you many here and my self did meds on march and we are still waiting on ppr
But who k ows maybe you get your ppr before us

In my personal case im also post graduate living in canada with 20+ years of experience applyed april 2010 med done march 30 rprf paid in feb all security background check completed and in que for passport request

Then "nadeem" , cause he applied in april 2011

I'm also a Buffalo June 2011 applicant with arranged employment, which I assume is now at Ottawa

My work permit ends February 2013 and my employer is not planning on applying for LMO.

I will however have 23 months of Canadian work experience come January 2013 so am thinking of getting my application for CEC ready considering I am loosing hope on my current application.

Any idea how long does it take to process a CEC application as I will be returning back to my home country as I will not able to work without a extension on my work permit.

I suggest you apply as early as possible with all documents. I know one of my friend applied and his got approved with in 8 months of time frame. but it may vary depends on the application and NOC code

As soon as CEC experience is reduced from 24 months to 12 months I will be sending my application.

I have applied under FSW program in August 2010 and in OCt 2011 I have received confirmation and file number from Sydney and they transferred my file to Buffelo visa office for further process.
From that time I didn`t received any update on it.
Mean time in March I found from buffalo website that they close Buffalo visa office and they transferred all files to Ottawa pilot processing centre. Then After I didn`t hear any update about my file.
Its already 10 Months, So I`m just worrying that why there`s no update
Would you please share your experience with Ottawa so far

I am in Barrie too. Good to know someone from the area.

I applied for PR in Mar 2011 under FSW Arranged Employment. I have been working with the same employer since Sep 2010. But I had 2 months of break in Nov-Dec 2011. I became Supervisor in Feb 2011. Which means, I will have 24 months experience by Feb 2013 to apply under CEC. My current work permit is based on LMO which expires in Feb 2013. My employer has already advertised the job on jobbank.gc.ca. Hopefully, in 4 months I will have positive LMO, and in Jan 2013 I will be able to apply for another work permit based on LMO.

My file was transfered to Buffalo VO on April 6, 2011 from CIO. I received fingerprint request for my wife in June, 2011, which was delivered to Ottawa on July 25, 2011. In Aug 2011, Buffalo received the results of no trace. Not sure when the file got transfered to Ottawa this year, but I assume it was in June 2012. I sent an inquiry to CPP-O in July which they replied saying pending officer review. Hopefully, we hear in another 2-3 months.Anything before that is a bonus.

I live in huntsville, little north of you guys.

If you start work from sep 2010, how can you apply in march 2011, with only 7 months exp?

In FSW, minimum requirement is that you should have 1 year full time exp, right?

Have you had more exp before in canada or any studies?
