Dear Friends,

After 3.5 years of waiting Ecas has finally added these two lines:


"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 26, 2014.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I don't check ecas all the time, you kind of lose motivation when nothing happens for 3 years, but Feb 26 is 12 days ago... Don't you guys think I should have heard something by now?? :-[

I am from a VISA exempt country, IF the decision is a "Yes" will I just get COPR in the mail??

So far every DM on this thread has been positive. Your COPR should arrive in your mail box in a day or two. Congrats

My ecas status still showing In Process and the latest update was:
4. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 1, 2013. (No updates since November)
But the page Date modified changed from (2013-11-07 to 2014-01-24).

Does anyone notice this Date modified, on the bottom right section of the ecas website page? Does your date changed recently? Is it the same as mine 2014-01-24?

Hi,

Thank you members. Got the PPR request by email today. Got the PPR within 10 days of the documents submission(RPRF, police clearience etc..).

CIC has given timefram to submit passport within 60 days. below are my questions:

1) My wife's passport will expired in next 8 months, is it okay to renew her passport and send to CIC from USA
2) I am planning to change her name in the passport from madien to married, is it advisiable
3) I haven't been ask for the photographs, is it okay?
