They should have your passport by now. But you need to let them know the situation and where to send the passport to. I assumed you were in Canada in my last post. You can't send a return envelope if you are in the US, they will return your passport by regular mail.

oh ok, do you have any dependents 18+ or they just want that for you and your spouse?
I do but was suprised they asked for only mine. I detest filling those immigration forms.

LOL!!! you are right, I just noticed that my comments about us being permanent residents generated 4 negatives and 2 positives. I'm sure they didn't mean it, they just clicked negative rating by accident. Lets keep hoping for the best and giving each other hope as this is the only way to survive this long PR process. For me it has taught me one virtue - PATIENCE.

Cheers :) :) :) :) :) :)
Congrats Alwayspositive, Now you have another skill to share, which is PATIENCE.

It's very important to spread love, the only permanent thing in the world. ;D

Very funny though! Don't lose sleep over them. Sadly, those giving the most negative ratings are the ones always looking for help :) ;D :) ;D :) #smilingatmyPRinmyPassport#
Well said Lad. :p

Bless them.

Hi
This is time line : FSW2
We received your application for permanent residence on January 2012.
We started processing your application on September 2013.
Updated document request in Aug 2013
Medical request on 16-Sep 2013
Medical sent on 8-Oct 2013
Finally, E-cas updated with : Medical results have been received. (2-Nov)

when I got medical request, also got PCC request. PCC was sent in 2012 already..(probably more than a year old by now)
so emailed cic about it. cuz getting a new PCC takes 8 months apparently. never got response from CIC. actually lawyer sent another email after that, still no response.

since there is a line added to my e-cas, I don't need to worry about PCC?? I wonder everything is cleared and only need to wait for PPR.

Hi everybody,

yesterday I got the request for updated forms, police certificates and updated funds. Yesterday I also got the responses from FBI, mine came back as "no record" letter while my wife's said that the fingerprints were of poor quality and resubmit them....unbelievable...nothing goes right!
Anyway, I called FBI and they said it will take up to 8 weeks again. The problem is that Ottawa gave me 60 days to submit everything, which is cutting it close to 60 days. What do I do if i'm late? should I write CIC and explain the problem?

thanks.

As Jayson suggests, do a mail to CIC stating your concerns--I am sure they will understand because there are so many applicants having similar challenge. Hopefully, FBI will get back to you sooner than expected.

Good luck

also, in the e-mail from CIC it said to send all the documents to the attention of a case analyst in Ottawa. But I read here that people only send the original police certificates in the mail, the rest of the documents are scanned and sent via e-mail. Is this accurate?

Yes, that is accurate. When mailing the original certificate make sure you quote the case analyst number on the envelope.
