So sorry for the late response, Haven't been on the frum since my last post. It took 10 working days to receive it. I applied on April 17 and received it on May 1. I applied in person at the main street passport office (Winnipeg). Faster when you apply at a passport office and in person.

Apply in person at the passport office on 433 Main Street, Suite 400. You can get a passport within 10 business days. You can even request urgent processing and get it in less time . Take along proof of travel - ticket.Check out the website...

My oath letter was by email. When my family got theirs last year it was by post so I think it could be either.

Nothing to worry about. I still have three lines, but got my Oath letter. Yours will come soon.

We just discovered some fraudulent person has already used my husband's citizenship number to apply for a cultural pass. I'm wondering how the person came by the number because besides CIC and passport office no one else had access.

It appears Winnipeg is very slow with oath invites. There are March 2018 applicants who are still waiting for Oath invite.

Consider sending a web form instead of calling to let them know he has been waiting several months and to ask whether there is an indication of when he will get a new date.

It takes only a few days to get the passport (required to wait 2 days after oath ceremony to apply). Can pay a bit more and request express processing. What is important is that the oath letter comes in good time for you to apply prior to your travel. Winterpeg:confused: can never get used to...

It appears there is a glitch, the spreadsheet has dates for oath letters that have not yet been issued. I think there are three entries with oath letters which appears to be an error. Happy Valentine's day everyone:)
